Why did anyone even fall for this? LeBron was well behind the line on the three he hit and they reviewed the Allen three on tv.

The refs didn't screw us in game 6, Manu and Pop did. In fact, the refs were less in favor of the opposing team in game 6 than I've seen all playoffs. Multiple times I was talking about how surprised I was the Spurs weren't getting called for certain stuff (fouls), when it's usually just the opposing team that's allowed to get away with aggressive defense. We almost never are, but we were in game 6.

Manu and Pop ed us man. . .mostly Manu. . .and not the refs.

Yes, that's exactly why the refs did it. They wanted to kill the Spurs chances for a transition basket. They new exactly how the Spurs were planning to run their offense during the hysteria following of one of the most historic shots in Finals history.

If you notice, when college refs screw up in the tournament they generally find it very hard to get another tourney gig particularly final four. College refs make mistakes but are held accountable. NBA refs make mistakes, but some of those mistakes are on purpose and very seldom held accountable. Unless its of course going over the edge and calling a tech on Duncan for smiling. We all know the end reward for that action was right back to doing final games.

In the end, with these level of athletes, the rules of the game can not be called fairly by anyone or ...................................
