Anyone who waits long enough can play the "I knew they'd lose eventually" card. The team lasts two rounds longer than virtually anyone expected and was still in things in the final minute of game 7, but sure enough, they lost eventually. , if they'd won, you could just wait until the next year to say it. Even if a team threepeats, they'll eventually lose, you just have to bide your time, right?
