Patrick Ewing, Karl Malone and Chris Webber should be automatic.
Damn, good drop![]()
2004 New York Yankees roster
Harlem was right, you've been on fire lately. your cleric has taught you well my young padawan.
serious though, doesn't that elevate Tim Duncan to top 5 status, considering he's never had a reliable second option. We basically surround him with a PG with extreme tunnel vision and a Argentinian who plays likes he's on coke, even at age 35.
Karl Malone and GP TBH with LA in 04 up there too!
KRIBYS 38% shooting in two finals as well! DAMN! WTF?
You could subs ute Nelson Cruz for Perez cause of his matador outfield play, but Perez kept serving up meatballs to power hitters
Nelson Cruz finished us in 2011, though.
btw whats with your Ben Gazarra tribute? is it because of Buffalo 66 and you wish you could shoot the Scott Norwood character while that badass Yes song plays in the background?
Steve Nash
Latrell Sprewell
Chris Webber
Patrick Ewing
Karl Malone
Probably the only thing I like from Gallo. Roadhouse was on a few weeks ago, and Brad Wesley's a badass
I'm still agitated at Manu, but the '05 Finals gets him off the list. So does the '04 Olympics.
My all-time choke team:
Calvin Schilradi (how lucky is this asshole that Buckner became the scapegoat? Schilradi lost both game 6 and 7 of the '86 World Series).
Neftali Perez
Chris Webber
Leon Durham
Greg Norman
6th man: Josh Howard
Coach: Grady Little.
Tony Romo
Joe Table
Chris Webber
Karl Malone
Wes Welker
Coach: Pringles
I might need to adjust my list to include Earnest Byner somewhere there...
Damn I forgot about his 2006 brainfart![]()
Damn, horrible Romo omission on my part...dude is the Team Captain.
i haven't seen brown bunny, been meaning to, but I like Gallo. I own a CD of his too, pretty good. I even enjoy his political views, but he's one of those people you can only handle in small doses.
as for Manu on this list, it's sort of like the Bill Buckner situation. Very good and decorated player, but what a way to it all up. Buckner was never the champion like Manu, but his mistake was like one key moment. Manu's was something that was building and building until it erupted like diarrhea in game 6. then in game 7 he got it under control, until firing off a few more squirts at the end.
Manu in Game 6 was the equivalent of a Buckner every inning tbh.
's my franchise point.
nice description. best one i've heard so far was "100 mph bumper car offense"
Kobe has missed more game winners than anybody in NBA history, reg season and playoffs, so i think he qualifies for sure
Lest we forget:
Nick Anderson
"Anderson stepped to the line with 11 seconds left and the Magic up three. He missed both free throws, but got his rebound and was fouled again. He missed those, too. Houston ended up tying the game and winning in overtime."
That's magnitudes worse than 28 seconds (but since it was only game 1, it would hold the same legendary mystique as 28 seconds). How do you miss 4 straight FTs?
