They made all the shots to hang in there, I thought that kawhi 3 was for sure going in to steal the game
It's not about moral victories. It's about knowing they left it on the floor. They did that tonight.
I'll always root for the Spurs, win or lose. All I ask is that they compete, that they put it all out there.

Everyone was wrong about the Spurs.
At the start of the season, everyone had us not making the Finals. Wrong.
At the start of the playoffs, everyone had us not making the Finals. Wrong.
Many had us losing to Golden State. Wrong.
Many had us losing to Memphis. Wrong.
Many had us getting swept by Miami. Wrong.
Many had us getting blown out in game 6. Wrong.
Many had us getting blown out in game 7. Wrong.
Despite not winning the championship, everyone was wrong. And frankly, they should have won the championship, and everyone knows it. Miami was lucky to get out of game 6 alive.
We'll be back next year.
Had they not gone insane from 3 (no one even challenging) we probably win that game too.
Damn this loss hurts, but at the same time I'm just blown away by what this team accomplished. Feel like a schizophrenic right now or something being happy and sad at the same time.
A big man short-Story of the post prime Duncan Spurs.
in aye.
They played it down to the end. Total freakin respect from me. Love them SPURS.
POUND THE ROCK.
Me too bro.
yup
alcohol helps. just the right amount thou. Too much and you will feel worse
been tipsy since game 7 and plan to stay like this for the next few days![]()
Spurs hung in despite shooting 38% from the field and LeBron in God Mode. I'd say pretty impressive.
wade suddenly shooting again
lebron ridiculous 3 pointers
battier "better timely than good"
and we were right behind them
what kind of moral victory is "at least we didn't get blown out"? Sounds like someone desperately grasping for silver linings that aren't there.
I don't know. I mean EVERYTHING was going wrong for Spurs and still they were right there. It easily could have been an epic beatdown IMO
IMO an epic beatdown would have been a lot more painful. spurs showed heart. That counts for something IMO
Depressants and being depressed aren't a good combination tbh.
agree but
just the right amount helps imo
Good point.
I think historically, the road team doesn't keep it close in Game 7.
And it took the biggest fluke shooting game of Battier's career to pull it off for the Heat.
It isn't outstanding at all.
We should have beaten the Heat because we have been better than the Heat the whole time imo. The only year the Heat have ever been without argument better than us was the year we tanked to get Duncan. We're not talking about an all time great franchise or team. They have LeBron James, that's why they're good. Before that, they were only good the one year they had a healthy Shaq.
I'm not going to be proud we didn't get blown out by a team I know we were at least as good as if not better than. I will only look back on this with disappointment because we should've won.
You didn't watch in '10 when the Celtics lead for most of game 7?
