It may not be the fix in the long term, but for the next year or two, it could propel the Spurs into favorites. KG has a very steady midrange game and proved pivotal for the Celtics this offseason, averaging like 18 and 15 during the playoffs. If he could get into the right role, I think this would be a big move for San Antonio, especially considering this trade is possible now that Doc is in Los Angelos.The Spurs will consider everything and everyone this summer when free agency begins. I'm not the one to say "TRADE FOR DIS GUY", but I really think this move could work. Throw Splitter in the trade and add maybe a Gary Neal and de Colo/Mills. Seems like a solid trade to me.

Yes. Him and Timmy can mend the fence and win a championship in the process. Allows us to keep Splitter also, essentially swapping Blair for KG.
I say this under the assumption KG can still guard some on the perimeter despite his advanced age.
Good to hear that Spurs will consider all options. If we don't get a facelift at least inject a heavy dose of botox!

i would absolutely LOVE to see KG as a Spur.. however the Spurs FO are incompetent and havent signed a decent free agent since.... ever. Doubt this happens.
