Looking at the roster, there isn't a single good defender on that team lol. Bonner, Bosh, Villanueva for the bigs, and Rose/Peterson at SG.
I was mildly impressed, then realized how the Lakers are and how Kobe can't even get out of the 1st round without a dominant big man
was unusual achievement no matter statpadding or not. there ain't many players who've scored 60+ points in a game in the NBA history imho. my arenas scored 60 against the suns that same season Kobe scored 81, too bad my 's primary faded even faster tham t-mac's

Of course as a hater you would say that. But the truth was that the lakers were down 20 in the 3rd quarter, and Kobe took over...that is the 81 point game.
The 62 point game, he outscored the Mavs by himself by the 3rd quarter and didn't play the 4th because they were already blowing them out. Both games he shot over 60%
How is this stat padding? How is this ball hogging when they won?
81 pt game tbh was stat padding, they won the game by 20 and he didn't sub out until like the last minute of the game, still, 70 or so points in a compe ive game was impressive imho, tbh.
Damn! Notice the brothas along the baseline doing everything they can to hold it in because a got dunked on. If it had been the other way around, they would've taken off their shirts and started doing kart wheels.

81 wasn't very impressive. He stat padded. Doesn't mean he couldn't do it since he showed he can drop 62 the same year against a compe ive team.
I thought he was a got like the OP, tbh...
anyone who watched that game thinks differently.. no one was doing except kobe that day, i still remember that game. Once you did what kobe did, stat pad all god damn day tbh..
