The skies are dark in my world...Mitch and Jim will pay for doubling down on stupidity...in my soul I just feel real bad because I know we're done...the only coach that can save us now and get the players respect and accountability is Jerry Sloan...Mitch and Jim will go down in flames over the decision to keep Dantoni...at this point I'm hoping the falls off the rails...and it has with the first domino falling with MWP opting in...

Sad times to be a Laker fan....and then we gotta deal with a re center...the only shots he makes are in the bedroom

Hey Kool, WTF is Mitch doing? He's bringing some of your crap back.
    KEVIN DING ‏@KevinDing
Besides Meeks staying and Sacre probably staying, Lakers have decided not to bring back Duhon and Ebanks. Morris might return.

Jerry Sloan would have a mental breakdown by week 2 of his time in LA trying to babysit Kirby and/or Bible Kemp, tbh....

Your credibility is increasing with these kinds of takes tbh. I agree with just about all of this, especially the re Center bit. I don't think MWP is the primary reason that the Lakers may continue their downward spiral next season but it surely doesn't help them. Every little setback counts. It's ulative.

I do believe that Dwight needs a bad ass coach like Sloan, Pop, or Phil to whip the out of him and turn him into a real champion.

Like i said their doubling down on stupidity...in hindsight they messed up by initially hiring and then firing Potato head...Kobe wouldn't have went achilles on us if Potato head was coaching...Potato head actually had the courage to bench Kobe and make him rest even though Kobe got incensed...Now they're trying to save face in the wake of the Potato Head firing...if they fire Dantoni now it will look as if they have no clue when in reality keeping him will mean the same thing plus we continue to lose due to lack of player respect....Mitch and Jim have been ing up all over the place...when they resorted to signing the big names on paper strategy we were doomed...as a fan I liked it but as a GM you should ing know better.

The primary up was the Nash trade....everyone could see he was done prior to us trading for him...then they bring in Dantoni thinking he has some magical cure for Nash's legs and things just got worse....they failed to pull the trigger on the Gasol for Rondo trade when it was on the table....they failed to amnesty MWP prior to last year, it's just god awful right now...I'm pretty angry at the situation because they know they ed up and they're being quiet and attempting to run this same bull ass team back on the floor next year....

Byron Scott, Brian Shaw, Jerry Sloan, anyone but Dantoni would set the sail on this ship...it's pretty disgusting at the moment...they don't have a clue what to ing do next...I think it should just all blow up with Dwight walking in the wake of keeping Dantoni....and Dwight walking will be a blessing....

He might be the first player in NBA history to have a higher FE% than FT%.

    (FE = fertilized egg)

Edit: he probably has FE% > FG% too

Please. Sloan let Williams beat the white off him and apologized for the experience. & Pop gets away with his protocols because he's buried in south Texas. During the playoffs I finally found out the truth about Green and him begging Pop for his job back. And they only cited it because he blew up and so it was "good news." "They" never once mentioned Pop nearly having to run Neal off during the season, or, actually running Jackson off after he conspired with him & Diaw to quit where they were and come and not quit for him.

& Phil didn't want to coach anymore without a bevy of exceptions & set asides. Now he's taken the dinner theater circuit tin' where he eats. Just shows to go ya.

We're down to Rilstra in Florida and Carlisle in Dallas. The rest? Shove the kit & the kaboodle into a super gigantic burlap sack. Whomever one pulls out it won't make a dime's worth of diff.

Yeah, hafta agree. Nash signing for that long of a contract with his age and giving up those picks was a bad move.

Wonder why the Lakers didn't gun for any of SA's assistant coaches. Sure, both are conference rivals but I'd rather have Budenholzer rather than D'Antoni calling plays from the bench.
