This might be a great deal for both sides. The Celtics get rid of their old players and take back minimal contracts. Then they can tank properly, pray they get Wiggins next year, and have ample cap space for 2014. The Nets dump their terrible players and upgrade their roster for an all or nothing shot at the le. Lopez/KG/Pierce/Johnson/Williams with Terry coming off the bench. That's pretty insane. I doubt they would even reach the ECF but it's still a shot. If they fail, Pierce and Garnett's contracts expire anyways so they aren't on the hook for large salaries. Only thing is, the Nets might be spending some time in the lottery if they can't win it all next year and those traded draft picks will come back and haunt them.

Yea but giving up 3 first round picks, two of those being in 2016 and 2018, is not smart imo. Who knows where your team will be in 3 and 5 years. Will they be protected?
Miami will definitely be in the Finals again next year. The real question is who from the West will be there to try and prevent a 3-peat.
