Not with Jason Kidd as coach LOL
Interesting...
I hope they crush Miami in the playoffs.
lot of big name players to manage
Starters
Williams
Johnson
Pierce
Garnett
Lopez
Bench
Terry
To a rookie coach, that's a gift and a course. Hopefully the East is much less of a cake walk with the Pacers, Bulls, Brooklyn, possibly the Knicks all getting better.
The Spurs just need to keep pace with younger teams like OKC, GSW (I think they will make a big jump) but they are as is a lock for a top 3 seed baring catastrophe.
Not with Jason Kidd as coach LOL
Miami will be in the Finals again next year. Book it.
I think Chicago, Indiana and Brooklyn have chances to beat Miami. It really will be interesting to see.
That's what happens when you have an owner that doesn't have a budget. Crazy amount they will pay for that team, but tremendous opportunity to win. Have to tip your hat to them.
What are the specifics of the trade?
WTF how does that $ work?
ON the bright side, we didn't want those guys coming over to the Clippers with Doc!
Chris_Broussard: sources confirm Nets/Celts trade that will send KG, Pierce, J Terry to Nets for 1st rounders in 2014, 2016, 2018 and K Humphries, G Wallace, Reggie Evans, Tornike Shengalia, Keith Bogans going to Boston.
Crazy lineup of DWilliams, Pierce, JJohnson, Garnett, Lopez with Terry off bench
BKY Gets: KG/PP/Terry
BOS Gets: Gerald Wallace/Humphries/Bogans via S&T/Evans/2014 1st/2016 1st/2018 1st
3 draft picks
but they will not be lottery picks
wallace has 30 million left on his deal
boston will have no capspace
So boston goes to brooklyn for wallace?
And yet stern vetoes a chris paul to LA trade? Right.
Another superteam in the Least. I hope they kill each other.
Deron, Jet, Garnett, Pierce, Humphries, Lopez, Joe Johnson have possibilities.
Kidd is an obstacle.
Nets are still going to be playoff fodder tbh. Only teams with a chance to dethrone Miami are Indy and Chicago, but I fully expect Miami to get to their 4th consecutive Finals.
By 2016/2018 they could be -- they're relying on old guys.
See details above
Using that logic, Stern should've vetoed the trades involving Lebron and/or Bosh to Miami.
grow the l up
They're rebuilding. Might as well hit the cap minimum with crappy players, play their young guys, and tank for the draft.
Boston positioning itself for Wiggins/Parker. Such tankers.
No Humphries... He went to Boston
Well, at least the Heat should have some compe ion in the East. I still think the Heat would easily beat the Nets but these Nets should be better than the 2013 Pacers.
If the Nets had a coach that would limit minutes during the regular season, I'd be worried about the Brooklyn. But with Kidd, I'd be really surprised if he doesn't run that team into the ground prior to the playoffs.
james is getting older he is do for an injury
