They've been spoiled with great big men (top 3 talent) since getting Shaq with guys like Gasol/Bynum/Howard. They're going to go ape when they realize what it's like playing with an average big man and what an impact they make, Spurs fans know just how hard it is to get a great big man, 2 is almost impossible. They've been giving credit to Kobrick, and not their big men which is what made them a special team.

anyway i agree with OP, without dwight they are over the luxury and that's without even counting earl clark who will probably get the mid level.
Dwight's play in the latter part of the season was one of the reasons they made the playoffs, he was awful for awhile but he turned it on after the ASB imo

I'd much rather see D12 cloak up cap space for nothing than seeing the Lakers with a bunch of cap space go hunting the next few years.
Obviously you're buying into all that BS that DisneySPN says. Kobe was just as responsible, if no even more so, for the Lakers failures. The problem is that Kobe and Lebron are ESPN's baby faces so they would never trash their favorite kids. Disney wants to portray those two as heroes.
