Yeah sure, but we don't need him

I don't understand why fans constantly make threads for starter wingers when Kawhi and Danny are doing a perfect job at it. Knows the system, Plays hard defense, Efficient offensive game.

Other than Josh Smith (which I doubt the FO likes) and to a degree D12 (huge gamble, but a small maket team might need to take it) AI is the only guy which I'd agree giving big bucks to.

But if we stay put (only doing some minor tweaking) its ok as well.

Sure but if you have a KL/DG/AI threesome (+some benchwarmers) the wing situation is basically solved against anyone...including Miami!

I like AI, but not on this team.

I'd love to get Tyreke Evans. Someone who could become a change of pace guard for the 2nd unit or eventual starter.

I'd take him over JR Smith an I started a thread saying I want JR Smith. He'd be perfect for this team. He's a slasher, shoot the 3 ball an great defender. If losing Manu (which I'd hate to see) to get him, I'd do it. People are not looking at the fact this guy plays his role. He doesn't run around lime most NBA players showing off. I like an occasional get the crowd into it in a close gm. But not all the time.

Big Al beside Duncan would be nice. It would definitely be an instant upgrade for our offense. An Duncan free to just rebound an play defense. That way Keeping Green wouldn't be so bad. Cuz if you bring in Iggy, Green has to go. Manu comes off the bench with the new guy an Diaw.

Bring him in to play the Manu role. Not a fan of Al Jeff, he would ruin this team. Dude's a blackhole every team he goes to.

No doubt he would be an upgrade.

Defensively he is the type of player to throw at Bron, Wade, Durant, Melo, Kobe....you name it and even while having Khawi it's great to have two such player (having one at the floor at all times and having the ability to put them on the floor together against teams like MIA).

Offensively he is one more playmaker. While not beeing an A1 playmaker, he is a guy that can create something if asked for, while also willing to just fit as a 2nd or 3rd option if need be.

I'm sure he would fit 100% on both ends of the court.

The only question (other than SA not beeing the greatest FA destination for whatever reasons) will be his salary. I think he was due about 16Mio and that may not even be enough to get him. A very steep price for a 3rd or 4th best player.

IGGY: $14,968,250. That's pretty big money right there. He aint worth that but he is really good, just overpayed.

I would like him as a 6th man and would be the perfect guy to replace Manu. His shooting can improve by working with Chipp. Now can the Spurs afford him? They can but an even better question is would Iggy be willing to give us a "championship discount" so that the Spurs can still further improve the roster? You know like resigning Tiago Splitter or finding a better replacement or signing a backup PG to Tony Parker. I don't think Iggy is worth franchise $$$ but he would be an excellent role player for the Spurs.

16 Million Jesus Duncan made 9 this year..

    He'll be 30 years old next year I can't justify giving 15 or 16 mil to a 13 pt , 5 rebound player

Iggy is a solid player but never became the superstar some predicted he would be. If he is willing to take a pay cut, he would be a 3rd perimeter defender for us.

But, Kawhi basically does the same things Iggy does and already does some of them (3 point shooting, rebounding) better in my opinion. Plus, I don't see Iggy accepting a 6th man role.

What the Spurs need are more intelligent foreign players, not more idiot gringo monkeyballers.

lol at Iguodala being a monkey baller. He gets paid for his passing, defense, shooting, and athleticism. He has good handles too, the guy's literally good at just about everything, not great at anything. But when I say good I mean above average. He can help any team for the right price.

I agree with everything but I still think he gets overpaid for being such a low scorer. If he can take a pay cut to play for the Spurs while still allowing us to pick up that big man or backup PG, then I would definitely love to see him in a Spurs jersey.
