Whose had a greater career? Who was a better pure shooter? I know Reggie led his team to the finals, but Ray has 2 rings and counting, not to mention NBA finals heroics both in 2008 and 2013.

People forget though, Ray Ray once upon time was supposed to be "The guy" on a team. He was Mr. Milwuakee before everyone realized he's really just a great role player more than an alpha player on a team.

Didnt Ray struggle during the whole 2008 playoff run? like he was bad as bad can get? or was that 2010 until he had the record game in the finals?

After the egg Allen laid in the '10 Finals I woulda said Miller, but, after that 3 and the breakage of Spurs ass I'll go with Allen.

That was 2010 I believe, outside of game 2 where he set the record for most 3's in a game. 2008 was the defining moment that Ray Ray won the series for them IMO.

    :'( Can't watch

This is really close actually...I'd have to go with Allen because I think his peak was better.

the prime Miller might be slightly better than Ray but Ray owns Miller's ass career-wise imho. Plus Allen is a better role model to youngsters

    lol no

Allen wouldnt have single handedly destroyed those 90's Knicks

And Miller is the only player who pushed the 96-98 Bulls to the edge

Ray has never led a team anywhere by himself

If Miller had prime KG and PP, he would have more than 1 ring

Truth. Reggie also never quit on his team like Shuttlesworth did, twice.

Lefty, I'm not exactly saying who is a better player. I think that easily goes to Reggie. I'm asking who had the more successful career and who was the better shooter? I think its an interesting question because Reggie is one of handful of legends who went out without a ring.

However, Ray has 2 rings and has a similar style to Reggie and I believe was an overall better 3 point shooter.

Reggie Miller in a Ronald Reagan landslide. He is the reason why the Pacers are still in Indiana.

Theyre about equal in their primes, not much of a difference. Reggie lasted a little longer so hes probably ahead.

Theyre both overrated because of their clutch shots. They are both really clutch but not that great as overall players. In this era Id take Kobe, DWade, AI, T-Mac, VC and Pierce ahead of them.

now this is the realest thing you ever wrote! if Miller had a prime anyone at least 1 prime-time player he would have taken at least 2 rings from Mike...

I haven't got to witness the playing days of Reggie Miller but looking at the history and how he made the Pacers a force to be reckoned with during the Jordan Era, I must say that he was the better player and compe or than Ray Allen. He played for the Pacers all throughout his career, and that says a lot about his loyalty, and confidence that he could win a championship not by shifting teams but by carrying his team to the top. Unfortunately, he failed to do so.

Reggie = roleplayer that earned star status
Allen = starplayer that will be remembered for his roleplaying

I'd go with Reggie but he was fortunate to have the perfect system to succeed in.

I'll take Allen, he actually won something, though he had great teams.

2013, Miami's le was on the line and it looked like the Spurs would win it all with 28 seconds left, Ray closed that door. Ray's the reason Miami is celebrating and San Antonio is in mourning.

Miller obviously individually was the better player, but he never won the le. I guess I have more respect for Miller for sticking with the same team for this whole career and not coattailing MJ or Shaq to win a le or two. Miller also made the playoffs 15 times to Allen's 10, and Allen will have played the same amount of years after the next season.

    Ray Allen.

He bailed the 2013 Heat out and won them the championship with that clutch 3.

It hurts, but he's a superior player to Reggie.
