Much like the British Invasion in 1960s Rock 'n Roll, the 2010s will see the international invasion of the NBA. What started in the 1990s and especially the 2000s will become even more widespread in the 2010s as intelligent international players come in and displace the gringo idiotic 'Murican monkeyballers that currently inhabit much of the NBA. Argentina's victory in the 2004 Olympic Games are only a sign of things to come. How much longer can the USA continue to compete on the international stage? The sheer size of the country is the only thing keeping it on top now, despite multiple athletic monkeyballers all around.
Athleticism is nice, but intelligence is better. Intelligence will become the name of the game over the coming years as 'Murican players slowly are surpassed by their foreign intelligent counterparts.

there're quite some good international players who've earned their places in the NBA but it's not like it's already time for them to take over the league. the US can send a college team to the Olympics and win a medal, and the Americans never need to call up all their best players to kick asses in continental games.
