I dislike Dwight as much as the next person, but the guy had every excuse to miss every game till January of this year but instead went out there and gave it a try. I think he rushed it thinking they were contenders but slowly realized the devastating mistake he and his team made. It's not his fault he lost athleticism and possesses the IQ of a 12 year old. He put all his eggs in one basket and got severely exposed. At the very least, I credit him for thinking he was good enough to dominate in the Western Conference.

On the other end. Bynum goes to a team that actually had thousands of Philly fans welcome him. He gave a motivational speech about how he wanted to make Philly his home....then he never even played a single minute. Not to mention the only healthy season he ever had for LA as a starter included many ridiculous antics by him and acting like an immature re all season.

So now Bynum's people have come out and again said "He's near basketball shape" and all the same they say year after year, get a max contract then bail on the team. If he even does play, it will be for a few games here and there then he will leave because of knee pain. At what point are the media and all of the fans unanimously going to on this khan artist for not having any intentions of actually being loyal to a team and wanting to win?

True...but lets not forget we'd be at 15 had he not pussed out in 08. Also...lets not pretend that he wasnt one foot out the door in the playoffs in 2009 and 2010. "Oh my knee is at 35% right now" and then of course the percentage would drop every series ie Celtics V Lakers 2010 series "my knee is at 25% now..I can barely play."

I'm not going to accept the injury excuse with Dwight... things like his freebies which absolutely kill whoever team he plays for are not an injury issue... quitting when the going gets though isn't an injury issue...

Bynum has his own problems (including quitting with that elbow to JJ), but these two guys are separate en ies.

Separate en ies but they make nearly the same exact money. Bynum made approximately $17 million this year and dwight made $19.

My point is, from a business and team standpoint, both guys are NOT worth their price tag. However, at the very least Dwight Howard does deliver on some level. Bynum on the other hand did NOT and rarely keeps his part of the bargain and put asses in seats. He refuses to play more than half a season and he comes with the same price tag.

Yet, the media has scorched Dwight this offseason already but no one is even mentioning Bynum and his circus.

Bynum didn't refuse to play, he just has no knees... to be honest, when Bynum actually suited up and played (prior seasons), he put 1000000x more effort than that pussy Dwight...

The problem in LA is still the same as the last season or two when Bynum was there, and it isn't really Bynum or Dwight, tbh...

I agree with almost everything you said here, except Bynum last season for the Lakers was a nightmare. He played pretty solid bball but constant reports were coming out that he was feuding with Mike Brown and was trying to push management as hard as possible. He was acting like a in diva without the resume to back it up. God bless Roy Hibbert is all I have to say after all this bs

was playing for a contract, fully aware his knee was about to give up on him... we know that now and not then, but it makes sense from that angle.

What I'll remember about Bynum is sending Barea through the air and how he always parked in handicap parking. moves, but it made me laugh in retrospect.

Back to Rapist, have there been any players that actually enjoyed playing with him, other than Derek "loophole" Fisher?

Pretty much the entire roster from 2008-2010 loved Kobe. Rick Fox is always on ESPN radio talking bout how honored he is to play along Kobe and what a great guy he was but extremely hard working.

I've never wished bad luck on anyone but Andrew is the type that doesn't deserve a huge contract. The dude has no dedication and no passion for the game. A true paycheck player. Hope he blows up his knees and plays in Turkey for the rest of his career.

Seriously speaking, I wonder who takes a gamble on him.

    Dallas
Houston (if they miss out on Dwight)
    Atlanta
    Philly
    Miami
