Yes they can in the next 10 days, but won't.
Lets hope not unless they're know of someone in the draft that they're eyeing in 2 years success just won't happen automatically and our guys aren't getting any younger.

4M for a guy who warms the bench and takes uncontested 3's when we're up 20
I believe the Spurs have until July 17th to decide whether or not to use the amnesty provision. That is a benefit, because that will give the Spurs a full week to gauge the interest in FAs and clear Bonner's contract off the books if it is needed to sign that player. If they don't see any big name FAs willing to commit, they can keep Bonner as a deadline trade candidate.
Spurs offered Neal and Tiago a qualifying offer. It's official.
Well, I suspect Bonner's contract will be a trade bait... the question here is if other teams think $4m for him is too much... but after the Jack for RJ trade, you can't be too sure anymore.
Yeah Bonner is not getting traded and we all know it.
if it were up to pop hed retire bonners jersey.
for spreading the floor and being a great teammate.![]()
Wow, did Dumars not learn anything from throwing those contracts at Gordon and Villenueva?
Wait till next season when he gets offered the same deal Kawhi gets.
Bonner will be kept till midseason. If we are doing bady at all he will be traded. If we are doing well, the Spurs will keep him through the end of his contract.
You were surprised by this? Their QOs are low, so it would be foolish not to offer it. Now we play the waiting game to see if another team signs them to offer sheets - or if we can sign a reasonable longer contract.
That's right, July 11-17 is the amnesty window
The Spurs will keep Bonner, even if it means losing Tiago.
You have to admit that their two main targets this year (Josh Smith and AI) are much better than Gordon and Charlie V though.
Coat tail ray hangs on. At least he didn't try to be a leader and sign with Memphis or someone that needs him.

Knicks appear close to acquiring Andrea Bargnani from Toronto, per source. NY offering Camby, Novak, 2 picks (1st rd/2nd rd).
It takes a big salad loaded with dressing and a big meal covered with gravy to fill up my fat ass.
Don't understand Mayo at all for Utah. Not when they have a better prospect in Hayward.
While Bargnani has a ton of suck in him, it will be interesting to see him play to a stud defensive big man and only be the 3rd option on offense. Also, no contract is untradeable.
