Just pisses me off when I hear spurs fans that say, well the Spurs are going to sign their own guys and we will be back in the Finals and win. Oh really so did I miss the automatic seed in the finals of the 2014 playoff bracket. We need to sign FA's that can come in and make an impact even if it means losing a few of our own. love it... two seasons ago we were exiting on the 1st round and basically considering the better of either blowing the team up and putting an end to the Duncan era, or adjusting expectations and enjoying a farewell tour... what a majestic tour it's been the last two seasons!
Don't know what the FO has in store for us this summer, but looking at what they've been doing the past 15 seasons or so, I can't wait.

Tbh, the league is pretty weak right now. It's completely plausible that the Spurs could make it back to the Finals especially now with the Lakers on their hind legs, and the Thunder basically dissipating due to the Harden deal. OKC won't be "easy", but I don't think they will be the insane obstacle that they were for us back in 2012, when, we almost beat them anyway despite a meltdown.

Houston might be a big threat if they get Howard, Golden State has shown to be tough, and Denver might make some noise, but those teams aren't substantially better than we are to where they are unbeatable. Grizzlies were a fluke that won't make it anywhere again especially now that they fired their coach.

Two seasons ago, we got to the WCF and got backdoor swept, that never happens. The year after, we lose in the Finals in 7 games. The next year? Hopefully we do what it takes to win our first even-year championship in the first year of Adam Silver.

Everyone's been saying that for a long time already, and where were we in 2013? What is wrong with playing with our own players? We are Spurs fans and we like Spurs players and the Spurs coach. Spurs fans are pretty dumb in general. SA has NEVER made it to back-to-back Finals. Don't be surprised if one of our players goes down with an injury next year resulting in an early exit.
