I'm not sure the spurs see splitter as part of their long term plan. Once Duncan retires, I don't think anyone of us want a long term contract worth 8-10 mil committed to splitter.
Don't be butt hurt grey. I wasn't generalizing. I'm sure there's more than one grey poster one this forum that is so casual a fan they can't even name 10 players on the Spurs now.

No I am butt hurt! That was a very insensitive thing to say. *folds arms*
that was quick, 9 pages for nothing per par, surprised didnt reach like 20 pages
![]()
this will reach 20 pages
If the dumb@ss didn't out his own lie, this was heading to 20 pages, tbh.
Thank god, I don't want Gortat.
Well... that was fun while it lasted. I guess now we understand why this trade didn't make a lot of sense for the Suns.
Greg Oden
I don't even know what to think anymore.
Surprised more people didn't their pants over that Gortat tweet...from two weeks ago![]()
Not according to the Suns fans. They are on him just as much as Spurs fans are on Tiago about being soft etc.
This is why I said he is another RJ. We'll all hate him in a year.
tru dat
In other news, Spurs are reportedly interested in Derek Anderson and Rasho Nesterovic. Spurs front office believes both will provide the spurs with exactly what was missing during the finals. More to come.... UPDATE: Spurs have now cooled on Anderson and Nesterovic because they've turned attention to signing Negele Knight and Greg Ostertag. Keep following my twitter for more updates.
Sounds about right.
Spurs can do witout him
That was awesome. Nice job MB.
Yup Yup...
Spot on. Splitter is soft, but so is this guy. Dont be fooled by the muscles. Its a wash.
it might be a wash end of the day, but instead of making a huge financial commitment now, having gortat for 1 year 7.7 million gives us flexibility in the future as well
lol gor-
might as well keep splitter and pay him.
The problem is the coach not the players.
