Slow weekend, so I finally rewound and watched game 1 vs. Golden St. I have most games recorded. I thought about watching game 6 of the finals ... but its like the family from Poltergeist avoiding Carol Anne's bedroom because they know the horror that awaits. I couldn't bring myself to watch it again ... yet. The funny thing is I rewatched the end of game 6 the day after ... but I was still numb at the time.

    I re-watched game 6 again last night.

The look on Lebron's face when there was under a minute to go was one of pure terror. Lebron thought he was done and the world was falling on him. I have never seen a look of pure terror from him in his whole career. It was done. The ropes were being erected around the perimeter of the court.

Even Van Gundy stated something to the effect of "why are the ropes necessary - do they think that MIAMI fans are going to storm the court because the Spurs win the le?''

Parker had just obliterated Miami with 5 points in the last two possessions and the writing was on the wall. Lebron had shrunk again and he knew his summer would be a in' living . Then Lebron turned the ball over and his legacy was shot to .

    Then Pop happened.

Cannot believe that no one here is calling for his in head - instead we have a lot of satisfied losers.

All of you so-called Spurs fans are happy losers who don't deserve a le - because you put Pop ahead of les. You are happily satisfied to come in second.

    Sickening.

It hurts so much reading this stuff as a fan, I can't imagine how Tim felt/still feels. He's a great guy but unless he's the second coming you can't convince me he can forgive the old fart for pissing away his legacy.

It isn't happening, Tim said after the GS series that if Pop benches and it works it's fine but if it doesn't then it's another story basically (someone should find the exact quote). Well it's another story. If Tim walked in on Pop ing his wife he'd have an easier time forgiving him, Tim should have 6 les, he should have tied his franchise with Chicago all time but Pop got in the way, twice, 2006 and the epic blunder of 2013. So ed up.

I suspect that is part of Pop being part of the "simulator crew."

I watched the last 2 mins of game 6 once, and it was just as shocking to see. I'm most bummed that there won't be a championship DVD, to cherish forever. Out of all of them this one would have been the most joy to watch...such a shame.

I just watched the 4th quarter of Game 7. Call it therapy. Great game, ty ending. Ginobili's turnovers were almost as painful now as they were live, but I had failed to realize that despite the turnovers, he played well, and without him, the Spurs may have been blown out because Parker was M.I.A.

It was good to see LeBron and Wade acknowledge Duncan after the game. I missed that the first time.

One thing for sure, the intensity of that 4th quarter was palpable. After I watched that 4th quarter, I tried to watch one of the WCF games against Memphis to help lift my spirits ... what a world of difference. That game couldn't hold my attention for even 10 minutes

I encourage you to at least watch Game 7, even if you still can't watch game 6. We all have to exorcise the demons sometime. After watching Game 7, this is the best I've felt since it happened. The healing process of Spurs fans continues ...

Sigh. Watched Game 1 of the Finals earlier. Seeing Tony Parker blow by defenders with ease, Danny Green hit several 3s, Tiago play critical minutes and play well, and the Spurs commit only 4 turnovers. Man, who would have suspected that by game 6, all of these things would go bye-bye.

Well, time to man up. Gonna watch Game 6 in its entirety.

Gonna watch Tim's epic first half and arguably his best playoff game since 2006 Game 7 vs. Mavs.
Gonna watch the Spurs' double-digit 4th quarter lead disappear in a flash.
Gonna watch LeBron rise up ... then shockingly wilt under pressure, only to be saved by his teammates and a couple of lucky bounces.
Gonna yell at the TV (again) when Tim is not in for the final two defensive possessions in regulation.
Gonna see all 8 turnovers by Manu.

I think I'm gonna be sick. Here goes nothing ...

I would have watched all the good ones had we won but I can't stomach it now. They mean nothing. I'm sick just reading the description of what happened. When JVG was talking about the ropes I was on the phone with my friend talking about how unbelievable it all was that we were about to win. I was ready to explode. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Man, it's amazing that I didn't realize in the heat of the moment how amazing Game 6 was. At the time, it was nothing but frustration and agony and anger. But now, a couple of weeks removed, my goodness!

So many what-ifs throughout the game. The Spurs had a few easy shots in the 4th quarter that they just could not convert. Despite this, they played so well.

Another thing that stood out this time was some great Heat defense. We all want to blame the Spurs for not executing, but some of that D was big time. Specifically their transition D on the last play of regulation. Tony Parker had absolutely no one to pass the ball to. At the time I was angry that he kept the ball and took a tough shot, but that was really the only option available.

I'll say it again ... what a game. What a mother fvckin' game!

    Wow, I feel better.

I had forgotten about it, but Timmy had a similar miss in the final 2 minutes of game 6.
