RIP Marcin Gortat rumor

Hearing Spurs and Tiago Splitter have ramped up talks and are making progress toward deal terms
3 yrs 18 million (fingers crossed)
Im good with it. Now grab ak47 and i'd call it a succesful off season.
ODEN TOO! LOL. Get greedy some.
I have no problem bringing him back, it's just all about the deal terms.
the vet min spur fan
Seems like what their plans are. Still need a shot creator though..
ak47 cancreate shots with diaw
Probably never alive to begin with considering the only source flip flopping.
But it's certainly not bad news - Splitter is a highly efficient big on both ends who played a major role in solving the teams issues with twin tower opponents (while still having some teams that he matches up poorly against). He's probably the best lone big on the market that the team has a legit shot at.
That said, need to make sure that any deal with him leaves room for improvements elsewhere. Splitter >>> Pachulia coming off ACL. But going into next season, I'd rather have Zaza + AK47 than Splitter + Casspi (or similar mediocre swingman).
I would offer splitter 5 years but have him option after three
5 for 35 with incentives
Glad to hear it, means one less question mark (when he signs) and we'll have a better idea of the cap space Spurs have to work with. plus maybe they'll get manu's out of the way once they're done with Tiago's contract.
If there's a 4th year I hope the annual salary is less than that
I haven't heard of one single other team showing interest in Splitter, other than Portland who can't afford him now anyways. The Spurs need to use this lack of interest to get a bargain on his contract. Don't just give him a 3 yr/$27 million deal just because.
I think Nando could fill that role if he gets minutes and practices his mid range game this summer. Make them respect your shot, opens up lanes, bounce passes actually make it to their intended recipient. And he's already under contract.
8 mil per seems about right
Anything less than 7 mil for Tiago should have his agent fired on the spot....
manu is last
HE SHOULD TAKE A PAYCUT MORE IF SPURS CAN GET AK47
Agree. 3/25 or 4/30.
All the rumors hopefully means the Spurs hardball negotiated a good deal with Splitter.
