How is Re an upgrade over Bledsoe? After all the talk about Bledsoe's value for the last two years, the Clippers end up with frigging JJ Re , who nobody would give two craps about if he went to any other college than Duke? What do Duke players do in the NBA? They disappoint. EVERY time. This is the most idiotic trade I've ever seen.

Re is a good player and so is Dudley, the Clippers' wing positions are much improved. Bledsoe was going to go eventually.

    Suns

Clippers got better and can beat everyone in the West that isn't San Antonio. If they had managed to swing Dudley while keeping Bledsoe, then the Spurs would have some trouble.

Exactly what I was thinking. Bledsoe routinely dogged the out of whoever was across from him. But they picked up some nice pieces though.

I like this deal a lot for the Clippers. Butler ain't and Red gives them some much needed shooting. And then Dudley is a nice bench guy who was just being wasted in Phoenix. They still need another bigman though to play the role that Evans and KMart filled so well a couple of years ago.

It's actually not a bad deal for the Suns either, provided Bledsoe improves on the offensive end.... the Bucks got absolutely raped though

Not sure how its "lol suns"?

Cleared CAP on a player who at his best is 10 PPG with a 4.5 per million contract and got an in-demand PG who will see meaningful minutes. When his numbers double/triple as his role increases, he could become a significant piece in trades.

Clippers got two quality rotation players who are better on good teams than bad ones, and Suns saved like two years, 9 million, clearing 4.5 in CAP for next summer.

Bucks prolly knew they were losing Red either way so they got what they could in a S&T.

indeed the clippers got a lot better, red and dudley are perfect fits for paul (i'm guessing dudley will start at sf) paired with their frontline. The money for red however is horrible. I don't really understand the suns move tbh, ok bledsoe is good and young but pg is the only position they didn't need an upgrade on.
