My musicianship, such that it is, stands on it's own. I don't like very many musicians....we tend to be narcissistic assholes with the attending ego issues, but I love alot of their music. I'm fairly assholish in real life and yeah, I suppose condescension is an aspect of that character trait. I've learned to live with it by accepting that I'm not really superior to anyone and frankly, could care less what most think about me. I'm comfortable in my skin.

Actually - the brutal truth is not that you learned to live with it as a character trait - the brutal truth is that you found some assholes similar to yourself and felt very comfortable joining ranks with them.
