Don't put too much stock into this.
http://kingjamesgospel.com/2013/07/0...-andrew-bynum/According to ESPN’s J.A. Adande (via SportsCenter), the Heat, in addition to a number of other NBA teams such as the San Antonio Spurs, are interested in the big-man-turned-hair-icon.
Don't put too much stock into this.
He would have to come ultra cheap and I still wouldn't count on it.
Man I'm fuc*ing tired of hearing "Spurs interested in..." and the FO doesn't do shi*.
Don't have any cap space so we have to fight for ty long shots like Oden and Bynum...
LMAO me n too., This FO is all talk, feel like throwing a towel at them right nowcue the your not a true fan hate lol
this off season has been very underwhelming. i shouldn't be surprised tho
This is kinda boring. Spurs and Heat are interested in everybody, who isnt goint to get fat paycheck
Rumors are spawned from the FO. Media, player agents creating these stories to remain relevant or evoke interest in their player. Unfortunately we support a franchise that people admire and so a great way to make a guy look good is to say 'Spurs are interested'.
Don't blame the FO, blame the media and/or player agents that would hatch these stories.
ElNono with the truthiness.
We dont have any money to sign him. Manu and Splitter ate it up. Bynum will get 10+mil/yr deal.
If a rumor like this gets your hopes up, you're in for a looooong offseason.
He'd be a decent backup for Baynes. The Spurs should sign him for league min.
i will be shocked if bynum actually gets a multiyear 10+ per year..
OK...for those who aren't already aware of this, you will hear many times "The San Antonio Spurs have expressed interest in...." without them actually having any interest. This is either an agent trying to raise the stock of his player, or the front office helping out a former employee who is now in the front office elsewhere. Truth is, if news breaks that the Spurs are interested in someone, they probably aren't. The FO is real secretive about things like that.
Once Howard signs...there will be so much action for Bynum it will be sick. ...Cuban will give him 10 mil/yr easily if they miss out of Howard. Dirk only has a few years left and Cuban will be in full panic mode to do a move like that.
He might be a decent back-up big on the Toros tbh.
if he's healthy.....im all in
The current CBA apparently has a thing where you can add a "pre-existing injury" clause to a contract, and if you end up waiving the player because of that injury, the rest of the contract is non-guaranteed and you're off the hook.
Under a contract like that, Bynum could be worth a deal.
Whats up with the potato is he like the sheriff of this place, and is that smiling manu of 2003 poster like his lil deputy?![]()
Would you rather it be a frowning Manu?
lol you know what's sad? Is that if this was a big market team in NY, CA, or FL players would gladly take the minimum to flock there after a finals loss. But since it's in San Antonio, even veterans have a hard time convincing themselves they want to play there, let alone taking a pay cut.
I would think other teams know this though, no? Maybe it's all there just to keep the fans from going crazy...oh wait..
