T-Vag is such a warrior indeed...
A lot of people around here would do well to understand that it's the Spurs culture that makes this such an amazing ball club. It is our one differentiator compared to the rest of the NBA. It's a place where we reward our warriors who want to play on, and have people sign for less to remain in the team, and its the number one reason every Spur plays team first basketball. Which in turn is why we are such a winning team
balancing positive culture is far more important than balancing cap space. And will win more games than some random mle signing at the cost of trading a Manu would.
keyboard GMs need to take a deep breath.
i love this club.
T-Vag is such a warrior indeed...
Spot on!
Wrong thread. Nothing but Popsuckers and Manu fan boys here.
not 1 mention of pop tbh. ur just a sad troll with too much time on his hands. by the way, name coaches you want the spurs to replace pop with after they fire him
I won't even give a shi* by then because my favorite player Tim Duncan will be gone. They can put you as the head coach for all I care. I'll be back though whenever the Spurs win the lottery and draft another legendary championship-type of player.
who said anything about trading him? we all knew he was either gonna sign a new contract or retire and there's nothing wrong with that. However, most of us though he'd sign for 1-2 mil less per year, that's all.
if you don't have anybody you want instead of pop, quit whining about him
Obvious cliff diver is obvious
Thanks for the speech, lol, can we all hold hands now and chant go spurs go, gtfoh man, spurs aint gonna win unless we reload n that's all we are asking.
This from someone with Westbrook in their sig =
Refreshing to read a take from someone who understands what makes the Spurs elite.
The Spurs started last season with a 1% chance of making the Finals and lost them by one rebound/FT. How did that happen? By sticking to the system, sacrificing for each other and pounding the rock. CULTURE.
Definitely a huge huge part, yet completely ignored by the noisy idiots on here who would love guys like Monta Ellis on the team instead.
Umm no. All happened because of Tim Duncan's resurgence. Remember my thread I wrote earlier about Tim Duncan's legacy? Yeah, so get real.
And if we disagree with you does that make us Duncan haters?
Lol bandwagon fan. Pathetic.
You aren't a Spurs fan at all, tbh.
I agree with you on everything you've posted, it's hard to disagree with the results the Spurs put up last year and frankly they're in the hunt every year. The fact remains that the success is predicated on Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili. In each of our le runs either Tim carried us or 2 of the 3 stepped up and were great for us to get us there. I think everyone is freaking out because they're all older and last year was a perfect storm, everything was clicking in the playoffs after a pretty mediocre March and an par April. All these cliff jumpers are thinking there will be a massive drop off and without someone who can step into these shoes at this stage of there career people are thinking it's about to hit that iceberg.
I believe the Spurs have a great chance this year but if something happens there is no backup plan, we're riding on the Big 3 and now to an extent Kawhi.
Are you obsessed with me? Every time I write something you're there to defend the Spurs organization. I know you're one of the all-time greatest Spurs homer on this site but don't you think you're taking it too far? You make me feel special. No .
Last I recall you were the one following "homers" around spewing your dictionary definitions at them. But whatever![]()
GTFO the computer, tbh.
you play far to much 2K.
Reload???
The genius in this team is the fact that the improvement is not going to come from overpaying some who may be ok in a system full of iso's at the expence of clearing strong team players.
The "reloading" we will do to improve on this season is called "development"
Guys like Splitter, Joeseph, Baynes, Mills, DeColo are going to get better. KL is going to get better, Green is going to get Better.
Thats how smart teams improve.
