Meh we're getting mixed signals but I believe Woj over anyone.
I knew this would likely happen. He's probably getting close to an MLE deal from someone.
You believe the Spurs want to carry Manu, Marco and Neal at the back up two spot?
You think the Spurs want to have 8 guards?
SMH
Gary Neal leaving San Antonio would give me an orgasm, tbh..
any team that pays Gary Neal anything substantial
..
I actually like Gary. Hope he latches on somewhere and gets a decent contract. He's served pretty well for us considering his salary in his time here.
If he is gone...we would just have to "Neal with it".
24 million I bet
They are basically the same player except one hit a season saving shot and had a great Finals game tbh...
No hate for Gary Neal here. As a Summer League stand-out that signed an absolutely tiny deal, we've gotten 3 very solid years out of him. I've got nothing but love for him. Hopefully he can go somewhere and make a little cash, cause he won't get it from SA. Best regards.
Neal's a good guy and I will be rooting for him wherever he ends up (except of course when he plays against the Spurs).
Damn, no more of those awkward Splitter and Neal Ford commercials?
"NBA Finals hero"? Is that suppose to be in blue? BTW, I think Neal has value and did well with his skill set for the Spurs. Not ragging on him, but that sounded a bit like hyperbole.
They're basically the same player except one is taller, can play defense, can drive the ball and finish at the rim.
You know, little things.
Loved Gary Neal to death, he had some clutch as shots during his time here.
Was everything Roger Mason should have been.
Gary neal mle ?! Wow
As I said in the Beli thread, they have the same flaws, except Beli is slightly better at Neal's strengths, is taller and has a higher IQ, which is good enough for me, tbh..he also isn't a sexual predator..
I'm also happy that his Cinderella story panned out. Undrafted out of college. Proved himself in Europe, and ultimately came back to score probably a 3 year/$18M deal (my guess). Good for him.
He deserves to get bigger cash.I hope he does.
Not gonna lie, I'll miss him.
One last time...
Neal with it.
Neal did his role and should be applauded. He was an undrafted free agent that turned into an actual NBA player. Hit lots of big shots and his offense kept the Spurs puttering along from the bench when Ginobili had his annual injury or was too preoccupied in helping the other team win. He even won a finals game with Green for the Spurs. Pretty good for having a salary of less than $1 million.
always liked Neal, he made me mad as sometimes, but man he was clutch and not afraid.
Oof...unnecessary roughness there, Harlem...
