thank you for everything Gary![]()
He definitely was, but conveniently the vast majority ignored the fact that his calf strain and plantar fasciitis were the primary reasons for that. For two plus seasons, he proved he was one of the best shooters in the league and a sixth man caliber scorer and that's generally worth the MLE.
thank you for everything Gary![]()
Come on to Denver Gary![]()
Wow, those Northside Ford commercials are horrible.
With Neal gone maybe they can pair Tiago with Belinelli. How many difficult to understand accents can we lump together?
for what $
Love Neal. Will be sad to see him go until I see how much he's being paid.
Shows his all-around game, with the little runner and the mid-range pull up. Damn Im gonna miss my Gary.![]()
I was thrilled when this guy made the roster, seemingly out of nowhere. At the time, it was hailed as yet another SA front office coup to dig up an undrafted guy who could contribute on a contender. And that's what he did. Well or hurt, highly paid or playing for peanuts, from a basketball perspective it really doesn't matter in the end. He made a positive contribution in many ways and beat the odds to do so. I'm not quite sure how so many of these armchair GMs think he can be faulted for doing what he did to the best of his ability. I hope Gary has a long and fruitful career, wherever he ends up.
Worst defender in he entire NBA, couldn't run the point for , took terrible shots, and made stupid fouls almost always leading to and 1's. Spurs just got a whole lot better with Belli's signing, especially defensively.
Too bad Bel has just as bad D
Haters gonna hate
Garrryyyyy noooooooooo!!!!!!!!

Good luck to Neal if he ships out. He was good and extremely affordable while he was here.
How did Neal get so underrated by Spurs fans at the end? Odd, tbh. Biggest reason why the Spurs are seemingly letting him go is because SG is the deepest position on the team. There's just no way to justify another multi-year contract at that position. What Belinelli got was about the most the Spurs could pay.
Neal gave the Spurs outstanding performance for the money they paid him.
If this is the end, thanks![]()
^Manu signifies the end. If he would have taken less money, the Spurs could have signed someone better than Belinelli. I can understand Tiago Splitter not wanting to sacrifice any $$$ because he's younger and it's his first shot at big $$$. But Manu? He was the one who should have sacrificed more.
He was great last year but this year he was crap, I wish the best for him though, hope he gets paid after being severely underpaid.
If he doesn't stay, all I can do is wish him luck.
He had great moments as a Spur. I will never forget tha 3-pointer against Memphis.
Not his fault he was asked to play as a PG tbh.
GOOD BYE HERO.
Tbh, for the price I can't really complain about him, though.
I will miss Gary Neal too. I agree with your comment. I'll never forget his Game 3 performance alongside Danny Green.
Probably due to unrealistic/unforgiving expectations about what players can/should do...Neal was great for what he was asked to do--particularly at the salary he was paid...we should all wish him luck and hope he had a huge payday...
All you Spurs fans that were hating on my boy Gary Neal throughout the playoffs because of his defense and shot selection, well you got your wishes handled to you. "You don't know what you have until you lose it." I've seen people hate on Danny Green yet he's making half the $$$ that Re , Kevin Martin, and Kyle Korver are. But you'll are ok with Manu getting over paid when he's way past his prime? Shame on you.
