These are things that have rather little to do with war-fighting capability. Then you compare Britain and Argentina, and I think we will both agree that Britain is ahead on all three counts (virtue, prosperity and success)...and yet your final sentence suggests that you think they are rivals in the same hemisphere; I am sure you can see my confusion.

Argentina is a rational, peace-loving nation and doesn't often involve itself in wars, but when they do, they win. Did you know that the Falklands War (which was stacked against their favor and they did VERY well, all things considered) is the only war Argentina has EVER lost?
