Good, we're in agreement that your comment was stupid.
The only deal they probably couldn't refuse would be Bonner + Green.
But for us it doesn't make sense since we already gave Tiago such a big contract and are stuck with him for a while...
Good, we're in agreement that your comment was stupid.
Incorrect. My comments are lined with gold; yours are lined with s , tbh.
Expect the Rockets to acquire Josh Smith in a sign and trade (probably by Dwight Howard's request). Expect Asik to be at least part of the trade.
Omer Asik was 77th in WS.
The 77th highest salary was $8,083,000 (John Salmons).
Yes, the truth is as fine as wine.
How about Ozell Jones, Ed Nealy & Pete Meyers

I'd love it, but there is less than a 1% chance of it happening.
But if Spurs could do it, Bonner and Joseph for Asik straight up.
Starting Lineup:
PG: Tony Parker
SG: Danny Green
SF: Kawhi Leonard
PF: Tim Duncan
C: Omer Asik
Backups:
PG: Manu Ginobili
SG: Marco Belinelli
SF: Jeff Pendergraph
PF: Boris Diaw
C: Tiago Splitter
2014 world champs!!!
I would love to have Omer on the team.
Houston want to dump Rin's contract along with Asik but no team has any interesting in taking Rin's contract. Rockets have already used up his market value so he's pretty much a dead stock now tbh.
But I don't think trading asik would be a good move for Houston. They're gonna need an insurance in the event DH should receive a season-ending injury or go on strike.
Can Houston amnesty Lin?
SA signs Blair and Neal
3 team trade:
SA trades: Bonner, Blair, Neal, de Colo, Mills, a future 2nd
Houston trades: Asik, a future 2nd
NO trades: Anderson
SA gets: Asik
Houston gets: Anderson, de Colo
NO gets: Bonner, Blair, Neal, Mills, two future 2nds
SA signs PG Jamaal Tinsley, C Zeke Marshall, a rookie G/F
C: Asik, Splitter, Marshall
PF: Duncan, Diaw, Baynes
SF: Leonard, Belinelli, Pender
SG: Green, Manu, rookie G/F
PG: Parker, Tinsley, CoJo
Lin has a new CBA contract, not eligible for amnesty. plus, I thought Houston already used theres?
I don't think Houston can amnesty Lin because he was signed after the latest CBA
I think you are correct. Houston used it on Scola.
thats right, i forgot about scola......ty
I couldnt believe it myself.....but I saw his name on the FA list....and he had decent stats in Utah last year. He can still play. I figure we want to keep Parker around 28-30 minutes a game, so Cojo and Tinsley can split the other 18-20.
First off; Tinsley?! Second, why would the FO spend the $$ they did on Tiago to have him coming off the bench?
Well, bring Asik off the bench......look at the money Manu was making and he came off the bench.
As for Tinsley, yes that one is shocking to see, but why not? We took Ford a few years ago, even after his injury issues....and he was doing well for us, until that freakish fall. Tinsley has baggage, but so did Jax and Neal. I think Tinsley could be a solid reserve for Parker.
I know that this is less likely than Stern ruling against the Nets acquisition of AK47 - but I thought that I'd share since the rumors have seemed to die down recently:
Houston Rockets Rumors: Omer Asik Trade To Chicago Bulls, Spurs, Kings and Pelicans Options As Team Likes Marcus Camby and Mike Miller Deals With Dwight Howard
http://www.sportsworldreport.com/art...tm_source=t.co
do not see rockets trading him to spurs
but they should sence we traded scola to them
Asik and his international intelligence coming to the Spurs would be a dream come true, but I think it's a pipe-dream, tbh.![]()
going to portland for artridge
throw in lin also
roockets could then be scary
NOOOO LMA should be going to SAS!!! Splitter + Bonner + Mills/De Colo/Neal for LMA + Claver. I wonder why the Pistons want Lin tho, don't they have a glut with Knight, Caldwell-Pope, and Stuckey? Add to that Will Bynum. Plus I heard they aren't trading Asik and Lin until they've inflated their respective trade values.
