Absolutely right. Heat were out of timeouts I think, so fouling inside of the three point line is the absolute way to go. Worst case scenario, they are down 2 with 5-6 seconds to go (whistle would have blown well before 5.2), having to go the full court. And odds of that outcome are very slim. Say the Heat player makes 80% of foul shots = makes both 64% of the time ... Spur gets fouled and shoots 70%, so missing both is 9%. 64% x 9% = 5.8%, and they would still have to run all the way down court and score to tie or win.
We were on the wrong side of history, and that picture is as epic as the moment and will last a lifetime. Not quite a Bill Buckner moment because we were on a 7 year dry spell at the time, and not 70+ years.
Let's move on and create another one of our own next year.
Your sarcasm is too cheesy, stop it!
More like, we can't handle your delusional takes.
It's not about fouling. You can trust your defense. The screw up was when we didn't inbound the ball to our best free throw shooter.
More like, you homers are blinded by memories of the past.
Looks like he's having fun over here...

I have fond memories of the past with Timmy's 1st ballot HOF career. Does that make me blind there as well?
No but it makes you blind enough to where you ignore all the mistakes that Pop and Manu make. Always remember this:
Sports homer - Someone who shows blind loyalty to a team or organization, typically ignoring any shortcomings or faults they have.

I'm objective and I criticize my home team. You're a homer.
"I'm objective..."

LMAO, do you ever critique? All I ever see you do is respond to other people that criticize Pop and Manu. You are a true "Popsucker and Manu fan boy to the rescue."
Different possession and one that resulted in a Heat turnover anyway.
Mourning takes time, but Spurs fans need to find a way to let this go and appreciate the good things that did happen rather than being angry about what didn't happen.
All I ever see you do is hate on people who don't hate Manu or Pop, and actually take the time to create a custom sig depicting what you think we look like. Really? Is it worth it?
The way I see it, you're not worthy of my time and thoughts to give you a detailed response.
Aww, someone got butt hurt because I called him a Spurs homer. I did the custom sig to get back at you fuc*ers. You'll are the ones that started talking sh*t to me going as far as creating threads about me.

I dont understand how Pop is to be blamed.. He's the coach, not the player. He could have said foul everybody on the Heat a milliom times, but if the players dont foul, its not Pop's fault. You are asking the Spurs to make a play thats not based on instinct in a matter of seconds, and they failed to foul. Thats not reason to blame them either. If you play or understand hoops at all, you know what im talking about. If theres anyone to blame, its the effin missed free throws, make one of em and we are the champs. But still, you cant really blame kawhi or manu for the FTs coz if we dont have either of em, the Heat sweeps us. It hurts, but thats just how basketball is bro, you win some, you lose some. Unfortunately for us, it happened during the last 2 games of the finals.
no, it's only Miami overall being more focused, with a little bit more heart and fighting untill the end a little bit more and stayed with cerebration a little bit more until the end - including coach.
Once again it's you that's starting this war. And if not hating Manu or Pop qualifies me as being a homer, then he'll I'm proud to be a homer! At least I don't waste my time making stupid ass digs trying to ruffle feathers. No, I'm not insulted by the sig. It's fuc*ing hilarious that you've taken this disagreement so hard.
It's funny to see someone embrace Tim Duncan and kill Pop and Manu when Tim Duncan himself, by every single outward appearance that he's ever offered in 17-ish years with the Spurs would be the first to say that what the Spurs have done over time has happened in large part because of Pop and Manu.
In other words, there's ironic awesomeness in someone claiming Tim Duncan and then disclaiming everything that Tim Duncan stands for.
i let it go.. not angry about it despite the caption up top.. didnt know it was a different possession though
Stop pouring salt in the wound!!!
