They had the worst bench in NBA history last year and still made a run at 8th, albeit in the weakest West in a while, tbh..
They should have a decent shot at 7th/8th next year, tbh..
They're graduallying getting better year after year since Oden was waived but the playoffs will still be too high for the blazers to touch imho, and I don't think the West has become weaker. Trades like the Harden deal have pretty much spread power over the west, say it might be easier to finish top3 in the west these days than previous years but the 7-8 seeds are probably even harder to get than the past years imho, often with 4-5 teams competing for the last playoff seat.

Didn't lose anyone significant, added PF Thomas Robinson, C Robin Lopez, and lottery CG CJ McCollum.
They should have a solid bench if CJ can provide some scoring punch.
