Kobe saved the Lakers a lot of time by running Dwilight to some place else and opening up LA's cap room for 2014. Couldn't ask more from a franchise player, tbh.

Whats wrong with Melo? You put him at PF and he can play out of the post with Pau at center. Melo is unguardable at the PF position. It could definitly work. The Media/and Kobe/Melo haters agenda will tell you they will shoot 70 shots per game, but the truth is Lebron shot more attempts per game than both Kobe and Melo on average throughout their careers.
Melo has never had a team like lebron has in Miami. Give me Kobe/Melo/Pau over Wade/Lebron/Bosh any day.

Dude ran shaq out of town in 04 which entangled the team with mediocrity for years until they got Pau and restacked, but he has pretty much redeemed himself this year by running DH out of town

its funny, when other guys get coaches fired, its a negative and they get the "coach killer" label. when kobe did it, people ed about the "death stare" and how great kobe is for getting the lousy mike brown fired
This is always the spin on a Kobe story. Heard a guy on radio today talking about kobe publicly criticizing Dwight for leaving and how he just needs to let it go, and the other host says, "No...No you're wrong! Kobe is cool, Dwights a tool. Kobe is cool for doing what he did and dropping th twitter."
The guy sounded like a boy band fan girl. It was ridiculous.
