Laker fans treat Melo like they used to treat Deron Williams, tbh..
They sure love their cancerous perimeter players that don't play defense..
Melo already plays like an old man, fat dude without much athleticism but has a consistent jumper.
Lebron still struggles to hit open jumpers, so once he gets old and loses athleticism you have MWP, a big dude with clunky fundamentals and no range. Lebron will not age gracefully.

And you treat Lebron like the community treats Collins, nuts on your chin, mushroom tip in your mouth.
The lack of real injury in Lebron's career means he will be able to rely on athleticism until 35 if his good health follows suit. Carmelo will remain streaky and only able to play half of the court for the remainder of his career.
This thread is so full of fail. LBJ 37 points in the finals with 1 shot in the paint on over 50% FG%... you serious Bynumite? MWP?
gawknoblee he went 5/7 posting up George during the Pacers series... Freaking ridiculous.
But really lets look at the non-anecdotal evidence:
I'm not even sure if you guys watch basketball with comments like this trash. LBJ has higher career shooting percentage in everything but FT's... the only thing Carmelo Anthony is better at is shot chucking AND LBJ IS GETTING BETTER... Melo has not significantly improved in any statistical category in since his 3rd year in the league in the 3pt% category.
So lets review. Lebron has higher PPG on better FG% while being a far superior defender, teammate, rebounder, facilitator, and he's consistently gotten better in almost every category almost every year.
Only Laker fans have said otherwise..I'm sure you could identify the reason for that, tbh..
Lakerfan just wants desperately to believe that selfish chucking and being a cancerous teammate is somehow being "a winner" and "clutch" while unselfish team play and an all-around game is "soft" and "unclutch," hence they hype every shot-chucking cancer in the league.... the alternative is to admit that Kirby's style of play isn't conducive to winning without all-world bigs, certain coaches, and favorable treatment from the refs, and Lakerfan clearly doesn't want to do that, tbh![]()
I guess if you mostly spent your last 15 years of basketball watching Kobe shot chuck for a consistent 45% fg% and 34% 3pt% you might think Melo is awesome.![]()
As far as an unbiased opinion goes, I think the biggest concern is James' size and the impact on his joints. I worry that he will decline quickly in his early 30's as all that banging of his large frame on those knees starts to take it's toll. He's is a good passer and an improved shooter so if he can manage to stay healthy I think he could be better in his 30's than Melo.
it looks like Bron has upgraded himself from Panzer IV to King Tiger it seems. He's heavier and more powerful in offense but extra weight will start to cause troubles in him when his age hits the 30 mark. He's already the best player of the league with no close runner-ups so health will be his biggest concern imho. He has adapted to a style of game where he barely goes off the ground which will definitely help with his durability, but it'll finally come to a point where he will start to decline. Even the Kang and my goddess can't free themselves from the aging process
Melo is a fatty, tbh. Can't be good for those knees as he ages.
LeBron is a physical specimen with abundant PEDs injected into his system on a daily basis...
I think the answer to the question is pretty obvious.
People are neglecting LBJ's abundant PED abuse. The gringo could be ageless, tbh. That steroid clinic in Miami can work wonders............
lebron will continue to play when he finds his bulk body is doing him more harm then good if he wants to keep up with age and the younger players, he would probably slim down to extend his career till he meets his son in the nba h2h
I just meant he can rely on his jumper more since he won't be as explosive to the rim. He is a decent post player right now, and I'm sure he will improve that as well as time goes on...he's not content on just being a chucking scoring champ like Melo.
