    In the backwash of the Howard escape from LA this is bad. But, they tried for 24 hours to get him to shut up and he wouldn't.

    If true, I can't blame him if he A) Wants to start or B) Wants to keep the same amount of minutes. It will be interesting to see how Dwight and Omer would work and how the relationship between Omer and the coaching staff will pan out. It would be sweet if we can facilitate a 3 way team where we trade DJ, get Houston another 4 and the Clippers get Omer in return. Pipe dream, but one can dream.

    Huge contract but from what I read, only $8 mil counts towards the cap (CMIW), so for those cap conscious team needing a defensive big man rental, Omer can be an attractive option.

    See, we're already "discussing" it. Otherwise (when it's the black thing) we don't discuss it. It's over. & that's just the way it is. But, this has to be handled with kid gloves. Him being white is strike 1. Dwight fleeing Los Angeles, in particular the door opposite the Clippers door Strike 2. That $15 million balloon next year is threatening to be the blast.

    He will be traded for a power forward or packaged with Lin to get rid of that stupid contract. Whether or not he requests a trade, he knows he's disposable to Houstan and that he will have another shadow to live in - likely on the bench, with Howard.

    I wouldn't, although Jordan makes $10.9 next year for doing nothing makes this a bargain. Considering how teams are still wasting money away under the new CBA, I won't be surprised if someone takes the bait
