I have a feeling Gelabale will be our backup SF.

I have a feeling Gelabale will be our backup SF.
From last February:

Popovich said the Spurs have had interest in the past about bringing in Gelebale.
“We’ve looked at him before,” Popovich said. “We just never really had a position there. He’s somebody we thought about a lot over the last couple of years.”
Is there a French lobby in San Antonio or what?
The problem is that Gelabale could get a better offer from Europe.
A chance to play with Tony, Boris and Nando could be enough though. I'm not sure what their relationship is like with one another but I imagine it's a pretty good one.

Anybody from the Pistons we could trade for?
Maybe Singler... or a 2nd round pick
They are looking for a pg and a sharpshooter. Nando and Neal?

Jerebko maybe
Not really a SF, but he could be useful. Overpaid, but useful.
Middleton would make the most sense. I know they were really high on him when they drafted him, as they guaranteed his first two seasons, a rarity for a second round pick.
But even after they officially sign Smith and their draft picks, they should still have enough cap space to sign Neal outright, so there's no need for them to surrender a prospect they're high on, at a position they lack depth at.
only if they believed a Spurs threat to match. Even giving the Spurs a trade exception should that be possible with their cap situation might be useful.
neal with the pistons would be great
he could not hurt spurs in playoffs
@WojYahooNBA The Denver Nuggets have reached agreement on a three-year, $15 million deal with free agent J.J. Hickson, league sources tell Y! Sports.
Nuggets
Wait, misread that. Thought it was for $25mil. Not a bad signing tbh.
That's a great backup for Faried.
Not a bad deal for Denver, but their frontcourt is very redundant, tbh..
Their average defense is going to drop to the bottom by losing Iggy and adding Hickson, tbh..
Still like the signing, though..they needed a big that can create scoring opportunities..
There were some rumors about Mozgov going back to Russia earlier today.
I'd rather have Hickson than Beli/Pend if the Spurs were going to spend 5M anyways IMO.
3/15 is a steal.
