How much did Mitch beg Kaman to sign? How many loads from Kaman did Jeanie take behind closed doors? How hard did they keep Kirby away from the negotiating table?

Tanking won't help. The Lakers don't have a 1st round draft pick until 2016.

I always wondered why Clipper fans and Hornet fans viewed this guy with such contempt. He always puts up decent looking numbers across the board. Then I had him on my team and saw how he might be the biggest empty stats guy in the league. If he gives you 14/8 it's probably the quietest, most worthless 14 and 8 you've ever seen in your life. Big time scrub.

Can't trade consecutive 1st rd picks, they have the next years pick and 2016.

The tank is on tbh. Lakers only have vets minimum to fill out the roster. Unless a Pau trade is coming.

I thinks it's been tried and there were no takers.

& I don't think Kobe would stand still for a tank. His biological clock can't stand the strain. If he's ready to go come October there could be a tempest in the old Staples teepee.

    Yada hey!

They have a pick this year, genius.

As L.A. sent away future first-round draft picks last summer in order to acquire Howard and Nash, they were sure to hang onto their first-rounder in 2014. Wiggins is considered a generational talent along the lines of Shaquille O’Neal and LeBron James. But even if L.A. doesn’t end up with the No. 1 pick to land Wiggins, Duke’s Jabari Parker and Oklahoma State’s Marcus Smart are considered can’t-miss prospects, as well.
