That's interesting. I's like a s&t with the Piston's to acquire Jeberko for Neal+Nando. Were did you see that?
Other than that, it's all mum on the Neal front by my count.

Just speculation, considering that the Pistons were reportedly looking for a quality 3pt shooter.

Has any team signed Seth Curry onto a summer league team yet? I was surprised he went undrafted.
Great, thanks.
I don't believe he's been signed, but I read somewhere that Golden State was considered the most likeliest of destinations - considering the family ties.
He's still recovering from shin surgery that he had in April. Unlikely he'll be ready to play during Summer League. He's going to have to make a team via training camp invite.
Hmm, the Hawks are talking to Bynum. I don't see them outbidding the Mavericks.
Supposedly, the Hawks have at least had discussions about Asik.
Keeping Horford at center isn't optimal, but it isn't horrible.
I could see them beating the Nets in a 4/5 series, while training the kids, and having cap space in the near future.
As long as they avoid Ellis, it will more entertaining than the Josh Smith (and Joe Johnson) years.
Marc Stein@ESPNSteinLine 7m RT @ramonashelburne: Kaman will get the Lakers mini midlevel exception, I'm told
That's a deal.
Kaman running up and down the floor in D'Antoni's offense?
lmao
What's D'Antoni doing there? Who knows maybe Kobe changes him.
Amnesty of MWP is becoming more and more likely.
Maybe Kirilenko wil sign for the Lakers some ty one year contract?!
So if they do, how much do the spurs have left to bid on him? Does that have to come out of cap space?
Not asking you specifically, just asking in general...
Nah. The Lakers will tank. Kirilenko would only do that with a team he considered to be a contender...and even then I don't think he does it. He wants a multi-year deal.
No one knows the real numbers right now, but it doesn't really matter. There are very few teams that want MWP in their locker room. Wouldn't be surprising to see the Spurs being the only team wanting to bid...that is...if they do.
Even if the Spurs can't bid (and they pretty much can't), they can sign World Peace for the minimum. That would be ideal anyway. Picking a player up on amnesty waivers is really only great if the player has multiple years left on his deal.
Thanks Chinook, if he does get amnestied and clears wavers, I think benefactor might be right.
I'd welcome Metta for the min, I think he's got his meds sorted and can give us a productive 10 -15 minutes of strong defense and post play.
MWP should play more than 15 min tbh... You don't get a veteran who was starting for a good team and make him a 10 minutes players, better not try to get him if that's the plan, that's asking for trouble...
Doesn't matter, 3M and only 1 year is an absolute steal. With guys like Zaza getting 5M per year for 3 years, how Kaman agreed to this is beyond me.
I think at his age, it makes perfect sense to reduce his minutes. Make him a role player playing against teams' second units and he'll destroy.
It's the weather. He's not doing it for the money or the Playoff prospects.
I don't hate Horford at the five at all. But he's apparently unhappy there, and the team was going to spend money to find a center. They instead overpaid Millsap, who'd be a fine bench big, but who'll probably force Horford to stay at teh five. That would be fine with me, but if they overpay Ellis when they already have Williams, Teague (probably) and their new rookie, it just seems like wasted cap space. Atlanta's been a 4/5 seed long enough. They just need to tank.
