Even as a lifelong celibate that I am, I'm not gonna do this for the fear of the pain. I'd only consider chopping my and balls off if you give me something like the Sunflower Manual(1)

Scissors, as short as possible without risking injures. If you don't trim your balls you are not getting laid, tbh.

Use a razor.
A straight razor. Which by the way, has a huge learning curve but it was on my bucket list so ...I did it. Took me 3 months. After the razors came, I got two, evenually they became dull and my sharpening skills suck. And a dull straight razor is ...not good. I settled for safety razors which give a good shave and are much cheaper than those modern 5 blade jobs. I even have several packs of Gillette Swedes, which are considered the sharpest razors ever produced and not manufactured any more. The shave they produce is amazing. Like rubbing a stick of butta' over your face.
Shaving your pubes is for sexuals tbh. I'll trim every couple of months with scissors to keep them looking sharp but I would never shave my precious pubes completely off.
Do you leave a precious landing strip?

Separate electric razor. Pull up on bag and.shave opposite of the grain. Easy procedure tbh...
With scissors like a banzai, ever so carefully until Wabi Sabi is achieved.
All of the girls I talked with about this matter absolutely hate completely shaved balls. Just handing out a piece of advice for you shavers, tbh.
Balls are not attractive no matter what you do to them----but at least less hair makes them manageable!
I Nair'd them once and it was the worst decision I ever made.

I shave my nuts and stio that thing above my and the surrounding hairs. Thinking of buying a trimmer for those surrounding hairs.
