None of the key Free Agent can alter a franchise like Dwight tbh.
    Thank Christ.

Need I remind you that your star player can't even get his shot off when the gets thick? The Clippers are a team and fanbase of has-beens and life long losers. That ain't never changing. Just be happy that we allow you guys to rent our arena.
Miami was also once considered a horrible expansion team. They also had a crappy fan base (still does btw) and their franchise was carried by players like Rony Seikaly and Harold Miner. I don't understand why people bring history all the time as if its a good indicator of what a team under new management can do. its irrelevant tbh. My point is the Clippers are being ran by a better management, no more Elgin baylor, thank you and for the first time since Larry Brown, we had a coach who actually knows how to Coach a little bit

You agree though that none of the free agents in 2014 and 2015 gives you a hard on, correct?

Tbh, Kaman > Dwightmare tbh when all factors are taken into account. Kaman is a good, deferential teammate who will cater to Kobe and play his role without being a primadonna drama queen about it. Kaman also has far superior post skills as compared to Dwight, who at present looks like he learned post skills from the Neanderthal man before he discovered fire.

I don't do draft choices, S&H. I'd let others trial & error them, vet 'em out, then sign them after they've done their internship elsewhere like Pau and Artest for instance. Even more so the 1 & done's. Its a recipe for disaster. These are children. You have a better chance of hitting a state Lottery versus the NBA Lottery.

Serious question, do the Lakers have a 2014 1st round pick?

I'd rather package that pick now (I know you can't, but, just for argument sake), couple it with Pau and see if we could garner something special and try it again. *take into account we hadn't let Artest go.

I don't know. It's just that history suggests they will. Maybe Carmelo gets sick of the Knicks not getting it right and decides to join the Lakers. Maybe they somehow woo Kevin Durant. Maybe the Russian sells the Nets and Deron Williams and Brook Lopez get gifted to the Lakers. Maybe there's a draft day deal that gets the Lakers one of the next superstars. Who knows? I don't nor do I claim to know. The Lakers just find ways to do it way more quickly than any other team in the league. They have never been irrelevant for too long. A handful of seasons at most. You're suggesting a decade. I think it's unrealistic.

Mind you, I'm not saying they'll be championship contenders immediately or can do that in a 3 year stretch, just not a lottery team or borderline lottery team for 10 straight years.
yes but that's with the premise they will not be tanking.. Also if you think about it, there is really not much they can do, they suck at drafting and there are no superstars that will move from their teams.. All the young studs are rfa so they would need five more years to rule them away, melo isn't doing them any good and the lebrons and durants will stay where they are. The rules have changed..
