wolves going from about 9 signed players to 7 after moving barea/ridnour, but then i'm sure they'll get players back from it.
jj barea is magical, no one knows how he's able to take people off the dribble and finish against 7 footers.

OFFICIAL: Detroit Pistons signed Italian Forward Gigi Datome

Jared Zwerling @JaredZwerling 1m League source: The #Knicks and Mickael Pietrus have talked further. He's back in the states in two weeks and will work out for teams then.

League source: The #Knicks and Josh Childress have had discussions for a small forward role. Childress is open to $1.7 million or minimum.
Bynum, 25, left Cleveland to travel to Atlanta to meet with Hawks officials, and Cleveland has begun to engage free agents Andrei Kirilenko and Elton Brand on possible one-year deals that would preclude the Cavaliers from the ability to sign Bynum, league sources said.
Cleveland wants a team option on a second contract year to protect it against losing Bynum to 2014 free agency should his damaged knees heal enough to allow him to make a resurgence this season. The incentives of a possible Bynum contract could include minimal hurdles of completing training camp and reaching minutes and games-played plateaus in the regular season, league sources said.
That's directly from the article that I linked above that you responded with Cleveland's lack of contention.
sign and trade for ak47 NOW

Detroit Pistons deal with Italian shooter Gigi Datome: two years, $3.5 million, source tells Y! Sports.
AK wants to play for a contender and a contract more than 2 years. Let's see if he can keep his words or get drown into the possible money the cavs offer him.
I like Barea and Glebale..
Players always talk big but walk small so I expect him to take the biggest longest contract he can get, unfortch for us...
Sign Neal...Get rid of Mills/ De Colo
It looks like the market for Kirilenko isn't here. At that stage of the offseason, I guess he would accept a $16M/2 years contract from Spurs.
After that, the harder to do is to build a S&T that please Minny and possible a third and fourth team that will likely have to be included in that transaction.
Do you think he can even fetch that? Looking more and more like AK overestimated his value, adn there is a reason why the AK camp is pushing for a S&T as opposed to Minni relinquishing his rights. At his age and given is desire for a long term deal, it seems like his value is more in the range of full MLE money tbh.
I'd call AK's bluff. He loses leverage the closer it gets to tomorrow, when Minni will relinquish his rights.
Can't for tomorrow tbh.
I predict we get a backup SF tomorrow.
Jared Zwerling @JaredZwerling Source: Toney Douglas has accepted an offer from the Golden State Warriors.
I don't think he could get a multiyear contract above the MLE without a S&T. He just doesn't make sense for teams with cap space. Cleveland is said to be after him if they don't get Bynum but they will offer him only an one year contract. Atlanta is maybe a possibility but just because they have done weird moves this summer.
I haven't looked at team that still have the full non taxpayer MLE but I guess there will be one offering it to Kirilenko which would give him $22M/4 years.
Under the new CBA salaries will be lower and some will really feel that pinch. Do we have any real basis to think the Spurs would still be interested in AK though? To me he would be great for our second unit and when we just want to choke a team on defense, but my opinion means ZERO to Spurs FO of course.

Jermaine O'Neal, I'm told, is bound for the Golden State Warriors
He's gonna fall apart within a month without the Suns' miracle workers.
Why with the others under contract would you sign Neal? Surely you can't just sign him and then dump the others! It's either Neal gone now or a trade, you can't just dump them.
Sam Amick @sam_amick
Toney Douglas' deal with Golden State is for one year and $1.6 million, I'm told.
I really don't understand why people would rather have Neal than Mills/Colo. I'd rather have a back up PG who can handle the ball. Trade all of them and don't retread on Neal.![]()
I want to keep Neal even though we have Belinelli. He's instant offense off the bench. Just because I said I wanted to get rid of them doesn't mean I think the FO is going to do it , nor do I believe they can. Just a statement.
