German Shepherds and minorities don't exactly have an amicable relationship. Sure, there's exceptions, but you should stick with the pit
Hey we needed something to keep the crackers, spooks and taco heads out of our backyard. A big scary pissed off dog that doesn't get any love and affection is the perfect guard dog.
German Shepherds and minorities don't exactly have an amicable relationship. Sure, there's exceptions, but you should stick with the pit
that's exactly what I assume when people get large/aggressive breeds and then just keep them in the backyard tbh
I had two large dogs. When they were puppies, they stayed inside, but when they got big they went outside. They even stayed outside in the summer heat. Took them baths outside with the water hose.
Animal cruelty, nah.
not animal cruelty, sure.
animal apathy, yep
A bit curious on your first statement. Where do you get the general impression that minorities don't have amicable relationships with GS's?
All over this particular neighborhood minorities (and a small sect of white trash) let their pets run and play in urban residential streets. It's sad. Poor people shouldn't have pets, or kids
My shepherd has never had any problems with minorities, tbh..the only trend we have noticed is that he detests coke and pill fiends, he'll bark incessantly when there's one around..
How? I loved them very much. I gave them attention and they were fed everyday.
Putting a dog in the house does not equal optimal care and putting them outside does not equal apathy either.
false, my uncle owns 2 german shepherds.
The most recent example I can cite was 2 and a half weeks ago when we were parked outside a Starbuck's at work, poaching Wi-Fi. Not more than a block away there were a bunch of Blacks and Latinos slangin on the street corner like it was Hamsterdam (there's a pain recovery center a block from where they were). 7 or 8 K-9 cops suddenly appeared--and it was coincidence, they were doing training in the city earlier that day. As the cops head into the starbucks, you can see all the cruisers shaking violently b/c of the GS's barking their balls off at the riffraff across the way. It's also no secret they have a palate for exotic meats
lol, uh you must know a lot to have come to that conclusion
People who keep pets indoors (dogs, cats, rats, monkeys, etc.) are ing disgusting. Their homes reek of filthy animal and when ever a dog humps on them they just play it off by saying its because it smells their dog on them. Well no sherlock...you're practically rolling around in filth.
Plus, these animals belong outside to climb trees, dig holes, or maul the neighbor's kids.
It was an inside joke
It's a pretty large sample size, tbh..
did you buy your pup through a certified breeder?
You can have an indoor dog and keep your home clean, it's just that most people who treat dogs just like humans aren't wired right anyways so of course they let their house get disgusting. And yeah, while keeping a dog indoors is no biggie, especially in the Texas heat, it's not good to just have a dog indoors all the time and only going into the backyard to poop. Dogs are happier outside with the ability to run around and ing act like dogs.
Cruelty is a strong word, you're just a . Dog's panting isn't a sign of pleasure or content, it's them trying to cool the off. It's no coincidence that every dog I've seen comes through the dog door or shows that they wanna come in panting. And as for cold weather, it should go without saying
Spay/neuter. Someone who isn't responsible enough to spay/neuter is probably not responsible enough to keep their homes from reeking. Says something about the people you've been with.
you strike me as a cat owner
If dog owners have a disgusting home, it usually means they're too damn lazy to clean and/or didn't train their pet to use the bathroom outside. Train your dog to do it's business outside, groom it when you're supposed to, and keep your home clean. Too damn simple. If you don't have time to clean your house like a normal person, you don't have time for a pet.
Just because a dog pants doesn't mean there's something wrong with it. It's natural for a dog to pant. It's what they do.
You are incorrect. A lot of panting means they're overheated, nervous, or in pain.
My statement is not incorrect.
Yes it is.
You don't think there is anything wrong with a dog that is overheating, in pain, or nervous?
