I think he's assuming that the jury uses common sense. But, based on other cases I have seen, that's not always a good assumption.
uhhh....dumbass...the jury sits there all day and listens to the testimony of the witnesses and sees the forensic evidence. It's a pretty compelling story of self defense from a punk doing an MMA style ground and pound. You might actually want to read some transcripts of the trial so you don't appear to be so ing stupid.
