Had the FO traded SJ last season, then we'd have a shot at having the team salary around $70M, but getting it that high now is pretty undoable I would think.
I thought we still had the SJax contract as a trade asset. Not sure what that meant, but my guess is we could plug it into a deal to make salaries work, but the receiving team would then not have to take back any salary. This concept was posted/alluded to (the contract as an asset) a while back, but I never heard much discussion since then so not sure how legit the idea is/was or not.
