The media is bigger in L.A. so naturally it makes it seem like the meltdown was Fukushima proportion I'd say the celebs had a bigger meltdown than most fans. I never felt that Howard had a sense of belonging in the L.A. spotlight. It was never a match and well, there has been an unusual response by the Lakers by posting those head shaking billboards begging for him to stay. Can't make someone stay when their heart isn't in it. I was looking forward to an offseason of ESPN and the like questioning LeBron--but noooooooo couldn't deal the deal. Had to hear the 4 or 5 supposed 'Heat' fans cheer like banshees at my local watering hole. I swore one of them cats was wearing a B-Griffin jersey earlier in the season. Oh well, c'est la in' vie. Yeah people may be salty but then again--that's about the most emotion I had seen out of the L.A. area this whole season.

Trust me he's not. He once admitted that if the Lakers or any LA team isn't doing well, he's probably not gonna watch. That doesn't sound like a real fan. And I don't fault Howard for leaving. Look at the situation e was in and he did what was best for himself. I can never hate on anyone who does what's best for himself. what he did in Orlando was immature. What he did a week ago wasn't. Discussed and talked over with a few squads. Most people didn't know where he was going.
