Do I have to post Kirby's 09-10 playoff stats? I don't think so.
Lebron, not even close.
He put his team on his back in each of those runs in a way that I have never seen Kobe do.
Please post for reference. I'm pretty sure the numbers are real close. Thanks.
Ok, Kirby wasn't too bad

Lebron sucked against Indiana and was a no show in 4 games in the 2013 Finals.![]()
kinda hard to beat going 70 and 20+ in back-to-back elimination games .........
Actually, statistically, he didn't have a bad series at all against Indy. Indy was simply a bad matchup for Miami, as was San Antonio.
And after what he did in games 6 and 7, the whole "no show" argument is meaningless.
Really, Kobe in his 2 runs had a more complete team than Lebron did. They didn't have to worry about bad matchups or anything.
Do you really think if you replace Lebron with Kobe, that the Heat win back to back? They don't win at all.
Here comes the kryptonite for every Kirby fan, ADVANCED STATS

talking about James's Game 6 and Game 7 performances in 2013.
As a whole, numbers will probably say James.
Ray Allen basically saved Lebron from the embarassment in game 6. Let's not act like he carried the Heat in game 6, son.
midnight pulp? is that you?!??!
Oh, that was regular season, my bad

It's fun watching Kobe getting bodied in every statistic, tbh.
with what's being said on this forum about Lebron and Kobe you'd think Lebron has a lot better stats when in fact its pretty close
oh, and Kobe was 31-32 years old at the time while Lebron is most likely at his best
Well, every stat except (unsurprisingly) usage rate![]()
Kobe at his best

don't get me wrong, i also think Lebron>Kobe but like I said, considering what is being said around here you'd think the gap is bigger tbh
Lebron choked by all accounts..had Duncan and the Spurs not tried to one up Duncan in the choke dept then Lebron's legacy would be done
Lebron was statistically better but Kobe didn't need a fluke chain of events to win an elimination game. Kobe had the refs on his side, Heat had the refs against them. Both steamrolled their first finals matchups in their respective repeats.
Both runs had highs and lows, the biggest difference is that the Heat are still running after their 2nd.
Lebron faced a much, MUCH easier and watered down eastern conference. Also in the Finals, 2010 Boston> 2013 TOSB Spurs and 2009 Orlando> 2012 OKC.
Kobe faced a tougher defense in the Finals than Lebron.
