That's a pretty solid deal for Cleveland actually.
If he's healthy then they get a lot for so little..

Well, he is definatly not healthy cause he cost himself millions by not going through a practice prior to contract talks. Not a bad gamble by the cleveland though, but Bynum well never be 100% in my opinion again, they need to do the TD treatment on him for the coming season and see what they can get out of him.

Maybe Dirk and the Mavs will agree on a buyout and he can sign here. wouldn't blame him after looking at Dallas' roster.

Absolutely, don't think he'll ever be 100% after the knee issues but he wasn't mentally into anything given that the 76ers flat our suck. Cleveland isn't much better but he might have 1 season in him to showcase something.

We must be one of the few teams that didn't announce signings today. That must mean there's at least another avenue left.

IF were Dirk would be pissed. you had a championship caliber team that would have been so for at least the next 2-3 years and instead, Cuban blows it up trying to sign Paul or Deron plus Howard and stuck out. Now you are signing scraps from this year's FA and Dirk is going to 36 next year and it looks like the Mavs aren't going to pull any significant signings in next FA as well with the contracts they are s ing out right now.

When are GMs going to realize that players like Paul, Deron, and Howard AREN'T going to win you championships. Team players and chemistry are going to win you championships. You had the best defensive C in the league. One of the bench PGs in JJ. HOF PG starting. You a good backup to Marion in Brewer at SF. You had starting SG in Butler who fit your system prefectly. And you let all that chemistry go in pursuit of Big Name players that haven't DONE JACK in the past 5 years playoff wise.

That is why I am glad the Spurs don't take this approach going into the offseason.

Kobe Bryant says don’t assume he wants to take a pay cut to help Lakers next summer
“I’m not taking any at all – that’s the negotiation that you have to have.” Kobe Bryant told Lakers Nation in an exclusive interview at his Kobe Basketball Academy on Wednesday. “For me to sit here and say, ‘Oh yeah, I’m just going to take a huge pay cut. Nah, I’m going to try to get as much as I possibly can.”

And now Jennings to Atlanta? He'd be a good fit there if the team wants to try to play him in a Parker-style offense.

I recall someone mentioning a Ridnour for Udoh trade back on draft day. Still a real possibility.

Nobody wants to play in Milwaukee...they have to pay players basically double to play there..look at all their signings...they are worth %50-75 of their contracts.

Precisely why I like the Bucks as a target to take on someone like Bonner. It's a lot easier to convince a team to send a player to milwaukee than it is to convince a player to volunteer to sign there.

Just something to keep in mind, the Clippers have a $1.6 mil trade exception that expires tomorrow and there have been rumors of them being interested in Blair.

Back in the day "re-signing your own guys and getting a few fringe pieces at fairly reasonable prices" would have netted a team a C+ in any reasonable off-season power ranking.

Now, given the moves this off-season, simply by "not paying twice market value for risky and/or injured acquisitions while also not trading away at least one of your young, valuable assets for pennies on the dollar" should net a team at least an A- in any reasonable off-season power ranking.

Either the Spurs and a very select few other teams in the league read the new CBA completely different than everyone else, or everyone else but those teams is operating in some kinda weird reverse-Matrix world.
