Maybe I saw a different finals...but Lebron is nowhere near as intimidating as Kobe Bryant. Kobe is one of the all time great compe ors. Wade did way more damage to the spurs than Lebron came close to. Wade was the one who would answer every time the spurs went on a run, and he was the one who set the tone in game 7 with his isolations and sinking almost every jump shot he took. Wade Came out and made it comfortable for Lebron to take some shots with no pressure on him. Bosh was the one with the big rebounds and block/foul on danny green, having plenty of moments as well. I just don't remember any defining moments with Lebron what so ever this finals. I remember Bosh withe the scrappy plays..I remember Miller killing us with his hussle and making gary neal look like a d-league'er...and most importantly I remember Wade being clutch as and backing his guy up 7 ft from the rim time after time and hooking it in for an easy two whenever he wanted. Kobe's back to back was more memorable and impressive in my opinion. Lebron missed his game tying 3. Bosh rebounded and Ray allen made it. I think Lebron missed a couple actually. Yea, I'll take kobe on that one.

Did you forget his triple doubles? Did you forget him putting the Heat in the position for Allen to hit that three? Did you forget him draining 3 after 3 in game 7? Kobe in a game 7 is not scary at all, he usually quits or his team gets blown the out or he goes 6-24 from the field. LeBron has the highest PPG in Game 7s all time iirc, Kobefan's favorite statistic

I won't go as far as saying a prime Kobe isn't scary in any playoff situation at all. I know the stats aren't highly in his favor, but he still has to be feared.

    But Lebron > Kobe still.

I remember Lebron stat padding at the end of a blowout. He's a great player. The biggest, fastest, strongest player on the court. He's going to get stats. Question was about who's was more impressive.. Not that one wasn't and the other was. They were both impressive runs. To me Kobe's was more so. I think the majority of the sports world agreed the Spurs LOST the finals in game 6. Not that the Heat won it.
At the end of game 6, if I had to have Kobe or Lebron take that shot against my team*, I definitely want Lebron taking it. As far as the teams they went through, the east has been dismal the past couple years. The bulls were without their star and probably favorites to win it all if they had him, and pacers went 7 without a true point guard or one of their all stars. It's just not as impressive to me. In the end, Lebron still has plenty of time and opportunity to leave behind a great legacy. As of now..the back to backs they both had..I'm going with Kobes.

And I mentioned in my last post that Wade set the tone and gave the heat a lead, and made it comfortable for lebron to take shots with less pressure. He wasn't making them when it was just on him. Wade got him there with his aggressiveness and lack of decisiveness.

    Kobe: 5

    James: 2

LeBron's regrets are his own. He came a Duncan choke from having the black scared off of him. Count yer blessings, daddy-O.

lebron played in a watered down and weak eastern conference team son, and in the finals, he shot 30% twice, under 45% 3x and basically was saved by historic games from ray allen and shane battier

I agree he made big shots and he deserves his respect in that. I'm not taking anything away from him. Just saying Kobe was more impressive to me with what he accomplished and as an opponent, way more feared.

But again are we talking about Kobe raping us next to Shaq or Kobe's back to back le runs with Gasol? I agree LeBron wasn't a scary player imo until he choked against the Mavericks in 2011, that was a big learning experience for him and he absolutely has dominated the league since then.
