Rinse and repeat process going on here. Wake me up when AK actually signs somewhere.

Sounds like a job for prayingdog.gif.
I can see some random team - Bucks, Kings even freakin Bobcats offering him deal, which he couldnt refuse.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rn-oXLZ0L7wLike the writing was not already on the wall from the thread le lol. Some just held on too long and speculated on why they have not signed yet etc. There was nothing CIA up, nothing behind the scenes happening with AK lol. Thread OVER. Next move.
Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?
It's more likely that the league decides to rule out the outcome of Game 7 and force the Spurs and Heat to re-play the last 28 seconds of Game 6 because it was much too cruel a way for a team to lose...than for us to get AK47. So, let's move on.
Since June 18th to now damnit, f this !
Miam has to be thinking they have no need to make any changes. Nobody in the West got better other than Houston.
I'm ready for AK47 to sign with a bad team and then for everyone to act surprised that he took money over winning.
I'd take the money if I were Kirilenko.
If we don't get AK47 then we don't get .
With the pittance we can offer him at this point, it would be insane for him to come here outside of a sign and trade.
I mean, taking a couple million less is one thing, but to opt out of a $10M contract for a year to sign for something around the minimum would be crazy.
Yeah, but the East is getting better too and even though Rose is a pathetic, selfish for how he bailed on the Bulls when they needed him, he still has that great upside and will come back next season so the Heat has to watch out for them aside from the Pacers.
This. He probably asked for more than the Spurs were willing to pay and wouldn't budge. I could see the Spurs offering 3/23 and AK turning it down.
I feel like I'm back in middle school and just went through a bad break up after a one week relationship. It's saddness all around, but I look back and say, "wow what a ride!" for all the excitment that is now gone.![]()
If the Spurs are serious about being able to offer someone a max contract in 2015, they may not have been willing to offer more than 2.
Ah AK, how close we've become these last 2 days. I'll miss our time together.
Have fun in Charlotte/Orlando/ birdsVille. At least you'll have a loooong summer vacay every year to look forward to.

Stop insulting people's inteligence. The Spurs haven't offered a Max contract to a free agent that doesn't include their own, coming via the draft, since before the Admiral era, maybe ever. They're blowing it up when Duncan retires.
Jason Kidd says o.
Back in 2004 the Spurs even offered Kobe Bryant a max contract before re-signing Manu.
Spurs are blowing it up in two years. But we'll be starting from scratch and it will be very hard to convince any game changer to come here for the max when we can't argue that we'll be contenders. We'll need to get lucky like Houston did by getting Harden and some developing pieces, and then hope we can attract a big time player to take less money to play for us. I still think the only formula for the Spurs acquiring a superstar is through the draft.
When does the new Taylor Swift song about this lost relationship with an AK47 come out?
I await to see what else WOJ or twitter or anything credible source says. It ain't over until that dotted line is signed.
