    He is a good backup for Kobe Bryant, many will believe Kobe is still on the floor when they see Nick Young going 1-9 in 5 minutes of play.

    If the Lakers/Kobe allows Nash to gain full control of the offense, the lakers may actually make the playoffs and make noise, by noise I mean making a series compe ive.

    And it could be vs Clippers, LAC get 3rd seed, Lakers somehow get 6th (best case scenario with Kirby and Nash and Pau being healthy), would be a fun series to watch, IMO.

    Amazing how they were able to sign Young for cheap though, was this a vet minimum? Young could easily net a $4-5 mil/yr. Man, Young is not a smart dude.

    Agree. I want to see these two battle it out. But I don't think the Lakers will go as high as 6th, IMHO they're a 7th-8th seed at best. I do think they are going to be better this year, not defensively obviously but their chemistry and ball movement will be tons better with Gasol back at the post.

    Considering the money the Lakers are working with, pretty good signing. He's not smart and he is a chucker, but he adds youth and athleticism to the wing position and he can score. I agree that Young probably could have found a better contract especially from teams needing to fill up their payroll to get to the cap floor.
