I think they are done.
Manu will get the back up Sf minutes and Marco will get the SG minutes
Welp, can't compete if backdoor Russian money.
Oh well.
I think they are done.
Manu will get the back up Sf minutes and Marco will get the SG minutes
ing Flip Saunders screwed the Spurs out of getting the piece they really needed. What a load of . That guy will be out of a job in a year or two anyway..
Meh. It always felt like a longshot anyway.
I can't believe you guys wasted all this time in this thread.
Kirilenko. If he wanted to sign for peanuts and play for Brooklyn, he can, him and their Russian under the table owner. No way that this wasn't some sort of under the table deal.
Then again, I take all that back if the Spurs wasted their mid level exception on Pendergraph and Belinelli and didn't offer the full MLE to Kirilenko first.
Yeah on paper it's mindboggling...
this is so terrible that its hilarious
Perfect way to put it. I agree. Comical.
One word - Prokhorov
AK is not getting only 3m/year.
He is getting a ton in Russia and the NBA will never find out about it.
The meltdown is gonna be hilarious when MWP signs there too.

a 1 year contract for 3.1 M? WTF![]()
Guess RC kinda knew this was gonna happen.
Why is every loser getting his tweets posted here?
Sooooo this smells fishy to everyone. Is there anyway the NBA can investigate and possibly fine the Nets if they find something?
Whats a taxpayer midlevel exception?
So is it a 1 or a 3 year deal?
Click the link bro...I ain't linking tweets but it's in there.
It's 3.1 M for 1 year only according to Vescey.
Not really. If they are moving the money around in Russia the NBA has no jurisdiction over there.
It's a 2-year deal.. Many players take pay cuts to play for "championship" teams so this will be considered that kind of case.
Cir vention of the cap is cir vention. The NBA's contracts are done here in America and as such, they have jurisdiction over those contracts. It gets deep but at the end of the day, AK-47 knows whats up and is going along with it. It's not like he's publicly saying, I don't want to be in Brooklyn.
I remember that when CWebb was given minority ownership in the Palms Casino as part of his contract, the NBA had to investigate it and for a really long time, you could bet on any sport EXCEPT NBA at the Palms Sports Book.
