it was an easy decision for AK imho, almost a no-brainer like Rin choosing to join Houston last year. It feels great to play on a team that's owned by your homecountry like you're the last one on your squad that people would ever want to mess with, it's kinda like working in a company where your parent is the boss imho.
Pokhorov could have set him up after retirement, give him a cushy job and collect 6 figures.
