personally, i like things the way they are. I know teams/corporations are always freaking out about growth, but I think Spurs receive a lot more love and insane devotion because there aren't too many options. I actually think an MLS team would be a better idea for this area. Then again, I'm not a fan of the Austin/SA area growing in population either.

Damn-straight, man. I'm getting tired of all these Californians and East-Coast people moving into Austin and telling me what my city is supposed to be like. I'd gladly drive the extra hour or so to San Antonio and let some other city take all the transplants.

With all the talk about the Kirilenko signing...I told ya that Prokhorov is the richest owner in the NBA and could literally buy every single team in the NBA and have money left over.
